Stock #5962It takes a lot to keep an old Toyota SUV down. In this 1994 N130's case, it isn't going anywhere any time soon, as its durable body-on-frame design, responsive manual gearbox, and a measly 93k verified miles make this Japanese import a shoo-in for a long and successful life stateside. Finished in a two-tone Burgundy Metallic/Grey (25T) the exterior has maintained its timeless appearance and is set off by an OEM spare tire swingarm, slim factory rainguards, and a set of tasteful refinished 16" alloys. After a couple of decades on the road, some expected dents, chips, and paint imperfections have appeared but overall this rig has a clean bill of health, a recent service by our trained technicians and is ready for the road ahead. As a durable, dependable, and downright fun to drive truck, this Surf is a real deal Japanese Classic. For a 1994, the interior of this truck is packed with amenities and can still hold its own for daily use in the 21st century as well. The grey cloth upholstery is durable, comfortable, and appears to have been well taken care of overall outside of some typical age related bolster wear on the driver's side. Additionally, the herringbone headliner and plush carpet underneath have withstood the test of time, and the vinyl wrapped dash is free of the cracking and weather related distortion these are typically prone to. As an everyday vehicle, the HVAC is fully functional and ice cold A/C is abundant for these scorching summer months. Additionally, heat blows hot throughout the whole cabin, and all power windows and power rear glass can unfurl if a more open-air driving experience is your fancy. Adjacent to the climate control, Sony audio is present although you won't hit any of our common US FM stations. Still, everything works and the sound quality is decent overall. Power mirrors and power locks work in tandem to make running errands a bit easier all around, and the rear bench is able to be folded down should you need to prioritize cargo space in the rear. Based on the condition of this cabin as a whole, it's evident this one was cared for in a prior life, and we've retained the factory owner's manual for further preservation of this great investment! For prospective stateside buyers, the 3.0 V6 is a welcome sight to see under the hood as it was the same powerplant offered in our American 4Runners! Ours is fresh of a comprehensive service and drive cycle by our trained technicians and we hooked up a new 12v battery to ensure you won't encounter any immediate starting woes. In layman's terms, a full tune up was performed here. New spark plugs and wires were installed alongside a new distributor cap and rotor, and a fresh engine air filter and fuel filter protect the 3VZ-E from any unwanted contaminants. Additionally we've changed out the old fuel injectors with new ones, and performed a fresh oil and filter service with fresh valve cover gaskets up top to ensure you'll stay well lubricated for the road ahead. With the maintenance performed, this one glides smoothly up to highway speeds and the 5 speed manual gearbox really allows you to maximize the six cylinder's powerband. A selective transfercase is on hand should you choose to drop into 4WD and hit the trails! The brakes do a fine job at stopping this relatively light chassis, and the steering is easy to articulate through the tighter confines of city streets. As one last preventative measure, we ditched the old Japanese rubber and installed fresh Falken all terrains on all four corners, sure to deliver plenty of grip when needed most!*California Residents: In order to register a Grey Market vehicle in the state of California then it will have to be made CARB compliant first.
