Stock# 5948The early 90's was truly a proving ground for Japan's bubbling automotive industry and Nissan's Y32 chassis was a perfect example of the peak of chassis, interior, and powertrain engineering of the time. Our 1994 Cima Gran Turismo was released at the tail end of the platform's development and boasts luxury refinement, oodles of power amenities, and a buttery-smooth turbocharged V6. With 83k miles on the clock, you'll feel good about your investment as well and our trained technicians have performed a comprehensive recent service to ensure this saloon is turn-key and ready to rock. Finished in Dark Metallic Green, the exterior shows well to boot and is accented by aftermarket rainguards, LED tail lamps, and a tasteful set of OZ Opera alloys snugged up against the body by a set of JIC coilovers. Peppy, stylish, and a treat to drive overall, the Y32 is Nissan's definition of a Japanese Classic luxury sedan. The interior is a fine place to be for pilots and passengers alike. The seats, while in good nick, have been masked with a more appropriate set of classy Clazzio leather seat covers. All seating surfaces show well and, while the driver's bucket has given up the ghost, the passenger seat is power adjustable so your copilot can dial in a comfortable cruising position. Additionally, the steering column power tilts and telescopes at your discretion, and an SRS airbag in the driver's position adds a bit of safety behind the wheel. The steering wheel has controls for the functional cruise which you'll love to have on hand for a long road trip. In the center stack, amenities are aplenty, including factory digital HVAC which works like a charm, with cold A/C on tap as you'd expect. Directly beneath, a USDM JVC Bluetooth-equipped stereo modernizes the cabin a bit, and pumps all the tunes you desire through a set of upgraded door speakers. All four power windows are operable, and the power folding mirrors and locks work too. Originally designed as a chauffeur's vehicle, rear passengers are pampered with their own climate controls and a power reclining rear bench as well. Overall, this cabin was clearly well taken care of in a prior life. That's not to say the interior is perfect, as there is a small crack in the rear glass, there is some noise from the climate-controlled blend door, and the trim around the seat belt buckles is either damaged or no longer present. On the positive side, we've even retained the carpeted floor mats to protect your precious factory upholstery underneath! The VG30DET under the bonnet was the top-of-the-line engine choice for this chassis with a silky smooth powerband and a bevy of parts available stateside, it remains a prime choice for anyone looking to dip their toes into Y32 ownership. We've performed a laundry list of services on this wonderful unit and this V6 now runs tip top, thanks to a comprehensive timing belt and water pump service. We also replaced the lifters while we were in there, too! We mounted up a new 12v battery to aid ignition, and new valve cover gaskets were installed to ensure you won't lose a drop through the fresh oil and filter service. After replacing the fuel filter and getting rid of any unwanted contaminants in the petrol, she drives like a champ. A smooth-shifting automatic gearbox transfers power to the rear wheels with ease, and we performed a fluid flush on the rear differential to get this one on track for future maintenance schedules. The coilovers feel firm, but are worth their weight in gold as far as handling is concerned on this larger chassis. The reduced fender gaps are appealing to look at on this low-slung sedan. New traction arms were also installed up front to improve drivability. The power steering is easy to articulate, and new brake pads and rotors were installed up front to reel this barge in from higher speeds if need be. Lastly, a fresh set of rubber was in order to maximize grip and safety on the road. We mounted and balanced fresh Falkens on the OZ wheels at all four corners, and she'll be good to go for tens of thousands of miles to come. We have even performed a fresh alignment to keep you on the straight and narrow!*California Residents: In order to register a Grey Market vehicle in the state of California then it will have to be made CARB compliant first.
