1994 Celica GT-FOUR
The Toyota Celica GT-FOUR ST205 chassis was released in February 1994. This all new designed not only updated the chassis but also the engine, suspension, and interior. This modern road legal rally car was exciting in every aspect. The ST205 Celica was the most powerful GT-FOUR to date and combined with it's world class AWD system allowed it to win the World Rally Championship in 1995. The exterior has loads of aggressive body styling that non GT-FOUR models lacked. The font bumper, all aluminum hood, and wing are all unique to the GT-FOUR model. The exterior on this example is finished in Toyota's Renaissance Red (3L2) the exterior is one the the best looking colors offered on the ST205. The paint is in phenomenal condition and looks excellent from every angle. The body is void of any major damage, dings or dents and the panels are very straight. The hood has been exchanged for a carbon fiber model which contrasts the red exterior perfectly. The optional OEM wing risers are present and help add the the already aggressive styling. The only other change to the exterior is a set of OZ wheels and KYB SR Special shocks and lowering springs which gets the stance just right.
The interior is in equally good condition as the exterior and has been cared for during it's stint in Japan. The seats feature large bolsters and keep you secure during spirited driving. They shows no major wear, no rips, and no major stains. The door panels are in excellent condition and do not show any sun damage, cuts, or nicks, and the fabric inserts are in great condition. An aftermarket Kenwood head unit and a set of Razo pedal covers are the only changes inside the cabin. The dash is in terrific condition and has no major sun damage, cracks, or bubbles. The carpet is also in great condition and has no notable damage. Overall an extremely nice interior!
Mechanically is where the GT-FOUR really shines! As if the striking good looks weren't enough the drive train backs up the bite! The ST205 is equipped with the 3S-GTE which has proven itself over the years both on the street and in WRC as being not only reliable but capable of making large horsepower numbers. The 3S-GTE in this generation was the most powerful offering yet and included a twin entry turbo (CT20B) along with an innovative water to air intercooler. This 3S-GTE starts right up, idles smoothly, and accelerates like a rocket ship! The AWD system prevents any potential tire spin and the shifts through the 5 speed transmission are buttery smooth. A Blitz axle back exhaust has been added to give a little extra growl and sounds fantastic. Otherwise the engine remains completely stock. The Celica GT-FOUR is a legend in its own right, drive it today and experience why!
