Stock #5420This isn't a crazy concept rendering or prototype, this 1993 Toyota Supra is the real deal. Sporting full Abflug Zefi:R aero, very few Mk4's exist in this spec, as this restyling is not only expensive, but difficult to install as nearly every exterior panel needs to be removed or altered. Under the skin, the chassis is solid, and the 74k miles on the clock are verified and documented on this Twin Turbo RZ. Records from Japan indicate some front repair history prior to the installation of the wild aero, but the cosmetics are clearly no worse for the wear and we gave this Supra a full service to ensure the 2JZGTE remains mechanically sound as well. Finished in Black (202) the paintwork is set off by a Varis carbon fiber bonnet, Do-Luck mirrors, and a fitting set of 18" Volk Racing 21C forged alloys. With BC coilovers eliminating any unsightly wheel gap, this Supra is fun, functional, and desirable through and through. A quintessential poster car, showstopper, or a worthy garage queen, this is truly a one of a kind Japanese Classic. In an almost complete departure from the exterior ethos, the interior is clean, simple, and mostly stock. The Recaro SR2 buckets look almost OEM, have resisted the better part of three decades with nary a rip, stain, or tear, and the vinyl cockpit-style dash is free of any unwanted cracks or distortion. The center stack frames automatic climate control and functional Alpine audio, although you'll likely prefer the burble from the custom turndown out back. A MOMO steering wheel improves the aesthetic inside and the rear leather seats are free of pretty much any and all defects. Both power windows are functional, as are the power locks and extremely rare electric DO-Luck mirrors. Even the door cards have resisted any major wear and tear apart from a few spots of sun fade. Polishing off the interior cosmetics, Imperial floormats give the cockpit a premium feel and we affixed a new OEM shift knob to the V160. Functional, stylish, and clean throughout, it's evident this interior was well cared for in a prior life. The Supra would be nothing without its definitive 2JZ-GTE under the hood, and ours runs like a top after a comprehensive recent service done in-house. We took care of a few general maintenance items first. A new 12v battery was installed to aid ignition, an oil and filter service was performed, and we sealed things up with a fresh valve cover gasket up top. We replaced the fuel pump and installed a new fuel filter, and took care of a comprehensive timing belt and water pump job, replacing some leaky cam seals while we were in there. New spark plugs help this 2J run like a dream and shifts through the Getrag 6 speed are smooth with no hitches or grinds. Contrary to the outside aesthetic, the engine is mostly stock, with a Apexi Intake, Greddy Front Mount Intercooler, and one-off catback increasing the 2J's auditory response a tad. We tended to a weary wheel bearing in the left rear and installed a brand new unit, and shored up the braking system with new calipers, pads, and rotors in the rear. Coupled with a Trust 6 piston kit up front, this JZA80 stops on a dime. The last line of defense between you and the tarmac, we wrapped the Volks in fresh rubber all the way around. With massive Kenda 315's in the rear, this Supra has both the looks and traction required for a successful new life stateside!*California Residents: In order to register a Grey Market vehicle in the state of California then it will have to be made CARB compliant first.
