This 1993 Rover Mini is the quintessential English runabout with its iconic looks and go-kart handling. Finished in a stylish Silver Metallic with two-tone carbon fiber vinyl accents, this sporty fuel-injected 1275cc example is offered with a slick-shifting 4-speed manual. Accented by a set of 10" MSA wheels, enlarged flares. and JDM fender mirrors this one is a real head-turner. The body does have a few spots of surface corrosion, and some light dings, chips, and general patina that any 27-year-old vehicle would. legally imported and recently serviced this road-legal go-kart would make a fun autocross toy or weekend cruiser.

The interior on this Mini is well maintained for its age and has some desirable upgrades. The MK1 retro dash conversion with Smiths gauges was performed back in Japan and is a key update. Due to the cluster change the 59K miles, but couldn't be verified. Upgraded with new LED interior lighting to better illuminate the cloth/lounge leather seats tailored with red piping which are in great condition. The door cards also match the seats and are well intact with no tears, rips, or holes. Its headliner is in great shape while the carpet does have some normal wear for its age. Surprisingly the back seats are spacious enough for an adult to sit comfortably for quick trips with ease. The driver has complete quick access to many of the controls. The climate controls which feature functional A/C are simple to use. Fitted with a Mountney Sport steering wheel for some added exited pairs up nicely with a Speedwell shift knob. The dash overall is in good nick for its age and it shows, especially with the help of the privacy glass to help reduce heat coming into the cabin. Retro style toggles to control most of the vehicle's main electronics add to the vintage feel of these. The radio has been removed on this one, but with the single exit exhaust, you wouldn't find yourself using it much in the first place.

This compact machine was successful because of its light curb weight, large wheelbase, and grippy FWD. Fresh off an oil and filter service, the 1275cc motor churns to life with the twist of a key. The engine sounds great with its charismatic burbles and spits mixing into the exhaust note. The exhaust unit is produced by Luckey and is the power adder we could find on the MINI. The little four-banger has enough grunt to get up to 80mph, and it's really fun on tight city roads. The close-ratio four-speed manual transmission is super responsive on throttle compared to the automatic trim and has smooth shifts in every gear. Carb-tuning is something that will not be a concern due to being electronic fuel injected on this Rover which is part of what makes these later model Minis so highly desired. It also makes cold stats a snap, and the mini lacks a manual choke like seen on 998cc models. Handling is on point along with its stance thanks to an upgraded Coilover conversion. Our trained technicians have replaced a right rear wheel bearing and both front lower ball joints to keep the handling fresh. The unassisted steering is direct, and the brakes are impressive for a 50-year-old design.
