1993 Nissan Skyline Coupe Gun Gray Metallic
This beautiful Nissan Skyline is a fantastic example of why these cars are now considered legendary. Improved for the 1993 model year, this new coupe featured more power, an improved interior, and more substantial footprint. With only 75K verified miles, this Gun Gray Metallic (KH2) two door is in good condition, both mechanically and cosmetically.
This unmolested Skyline's body lines have been preserved to maintain the factory's exterior look. The OEM black housing headlamps and matching grill set off the paint nicely. The body is in good shape overall without any major dents or dings, and the clearcoat has a nice sheen as you can see from our pictures. This is a great vehicle to consider for daily driving duties, as it lacks heavy modifications, and includes a brand new clutch should it be used in stop-and-go traffic. The smooth shifting 5-speed also includes fresh fluid, and is hitch and grind free. The RB25DET turbo motor fires up instantly, and accelerates effortlessly to the top of the powerband. Making 247HP, its mid-level torque is a huge improvement over the previous generation in factory form, and can be uncorked with the aide of some simple bolt-ons should you choose to do so. The inline six has been serviced and includes new oil and a filter. The suspension soaks up bad bumps compliantly, and newly installed front brake pads handle all the stopping needed. Grip is formidable with the more rigid R33 chassis, and a new set of tires have been mounted and balanced at all four corners to ensure safe all-season motoring.
The platform also is a huge improvement to this generations predecessor, utilizing higher quality materials, resulting in a quieter ride. Sporting larger, more legible gauges and a quartz digital clock, the R33 coupe's simple yet ergonomic interior reflects how much care Nissan put into making this car last. Both front seats are nicely bolstered and devoid of any spills, stains, rips or tears. Occupants in the back will also find the interior in good shape, as the same statement can be made about the front as the rear. The power locks, lighting, gauges, and one touch widows all function remarkably well. A simple three-spoke steering wheel finishes the interior, ensuring the driver has a well-gripped connection with the road.
Nissan built this sports car to stand the test of time. It's a testament to Nissan's engineering, as this car outperforms most newer vehicles, despite having been made a quarter century ago. This well maintained, Japanese Classic is a turn key ready option for those who wish to drive a legendary vehicle.
