The Nissan Laurel is one of the best platforms Nissan built in the early part of the 1990's. The chassis is versatile enough to suit just about any style of modifications. Combine readily available parts and some very cool features (such as no B-Pillar and no window frames on the doors) and you've got one very distinctive car. This 1993 example has all the right performance parts in all the right places, giving you the perfect starting point for unique C33. The exterior is finished in Nissan's attractive Juniper Green (DH0), and is perfectly suited for the classic body styling. The body shows well, and has had just a few modifications, that hint at what's under the hood. The stance has been set using D-Max coilovers, and the front and rear fenders have been rolled to accommodate a wider more aggressive set of wheels. The rear has been slightly flared as well; it's quite subtle and most probably will not recognize it unless they know the C33 chassis well. Filling up the wheel wells up front are a rare pair of 17" Watanabe RS-8 and out back an equally rare pair of 17" SSR Reverse Mesh, flowing well with the classic style on the Laurel. Otherwise the body remains unmodified and is in great condition with no major damage of note.

Moving inside the cabin you'll find a very tidy cockpit which has been lightly modified. A bolt in 6-point Safety 21 roll cage is well installed, and is not intrusive to those entering and exiting the vehicle. This can easily be removed, so if it's not your style, by simply unbolting it. Sans functioning air conditioning controls, the dash is in very good condition, with no major sun damage and good condition fabric, something which can be difficult to find on Laurels. The drivers seat has been upgraded to a Bride Brix reclinable bucket seat and while it does have typical bolster wear from entering and exiting the vehicle it does keep the driver firmly planted during spirited driving. The passenger seat and rear seat are original and in excellent condition. An aftermarket steering wheel and shift knob have also been added which continue the classic styling theme. The door panels are all in very good shape and the fabric inserts have been reupholstered at some point and look to have been done very well. Even though there is a bolt in cage installed the rear seats are still usable. The trunk interior is intact and a set of original floor mats are also included.

Mechanically this Laurel has been both well maintained and upgraded with a RB25DET power plant. While the RB20 is an excellent engine, the 2.5 liter RB25DET packs more punch with larger displacement and a larger turbo. A Greddy front mount intercooler sit neatly behind the front bumper and a Blitz intake feeds unrestricted air into the engine. Finally a catback exhaust with blast pipes allows the new engine to breathe freely and the sound is incredible. Take a spin in this Laurel and you will instantly have a smile across your face. Acceleration is excellent and the sound that RB's emit through an open exhaust is intoxicating. Handling is stiffened up with the D-Max coilovers and allows you to adjust the ride height exactly where you want it. Recent maintenance includes 4 new tires, new rear brakes, and a fresh oil change making this C33 ready to cruise the streets or hit the track.
