The Nissan Skyline race bred lineage leads back over six decades, and up to 1993, the R32 was the culmination of sixty years of sports car design. Featuring a stout driveline, capable handling, great build quality, and timeless looks, this generation of Skyline is perhaps the most iconic. Finished in one of the most desirable colors (KH2) Gun Gray Metallic, the steel-hued paint shows well and has a very reflective clearcoat. The body panels have been kept up equally well; no notable dents, scratches, or scuffs are present. Combined with a gray cloth interior and OEM rolling stock, this unmolested example would be an ideal daily driver, or a fantastic platform to modify. Our expert technicians have made sure to bring all the necessary maintenance up to date, so that the next owner can expect a turn-key purchasing experience.

The interior has been nicely maintained with little signs of wear. Cockpit updates come from a newer Eclipse head unit, which functions as it should and features an auxiliary input. Both the seats and carpeting are free of any notable spills or stains. The rear passenger seats look rarely used, as with most of the coupes. Bolstering is still premium, and the front occupants can ride comfortably for a long duration. Of note, the drivers seat has tear in the right bolster, however, the passenger's seat is fantastic. Unlike most 1989-93 vehicles, the signature dash bubble is non existent in this car. Another common item we see is separation on the C pillar. Nothing structural or of concern, a good upholstery shop could probably have it corrected with little effort. The R32 had several power amenities standard such as window, mirrors, and door locks, all of which are in good working order. The driver controls are all within reach, easy to read, and intuitive. The only interior modification is a MOMO Corse leather wheel, which is leather wrapped with red stitching, and smaller diameter than the OE one. Best of all, the normally small feeling cockpit is optioned with an operational sunroof. The unit ventilates via a tilt function, and also retracts fully to expose the open sky.

Under the hood is the zingy and rugged RB20DET straight six. This smooth engine has plenty of life left in it, and pulls strong up to redline. Quick startups come care of a brand new 12V battery, installed by one of our expert technicians, and should last for another 4-5 years. The Skyline's six cylinder provides plenty of power without being overly aggressive for daily duties. The power band is very linear and even, with great mid range torque. The engine benefits from one of the most expensive services; a new timing belt and water pump were replaced with OEM Nissan units, good for another 100,000 km. This six cylinder, mated to the five speed manual transmission, is the most desirable drivetrain layout for these coupes. Delivering great feed back, this stick slots into all the forward and reverse gears happily without a hitch or grind. When driving the cabin is surprisingly quiet, and with a jab of the throttle, turbocharger whooshes to life, providing a sporty soundtrack to those in the cockpit. All corners of the factory suspension are well sorted, the chassis feels confident in the turns without having to sacrifice ride quality. The steering produces plenty of feedback, and the car seems to have been very well cared for in its prior life. Although we couldn't verify the miles, the cluster reads only 21K miles. The OEM wheels have been wrapped in four new tires, and balanced prior to installation. The car stops quickly, thanks in part to the Skyline's disc brakes, and the vehicle has been Virginia state safety inspected. This legally imported, classic coupe is a guaranteed way to put a smile on any enthusiasts face. Its forgiving, playful chassis, and impressive build quality make this an awesome automotive option for a multitude of reasons. Own a Japanese Classic today!
