Sleek and powerful grand tourers of this era have never stopped being an absolute blast to drive. While plenty of sporty segments existed in Japan, cars like this 1993 Fairlady Z were both luxurious and dynamic in its performance. Offered with a mere 59K verified miles and finished in the classic Glacier Pearl Metallic (KH6,) the body is in good shape other than your typical clear coat scratches and door dings associated with routine use. The 2+2 layout has room for four, with removable T-Tops and plenty of power amenities. Powered by a stellar 3.0L twin-turbo V6 engine, this sharp-looking Fairlady Z is a legally imported, freshly serviced, and turn-key example of one of the best GT's of the '90s.

The driver-oriented cabin feels much larger thanks to the glass tops and is in good shape overall. Power amenities surround everyone, and standard features such as power locks, windows, and folding mirror work as they should. Even the driver and passenger seats are powered, which was rare for the time. The bolstering is premium and particularly comfortable over long trips, while the gray cloth is still soft to the touch. No notable rips, stains, or tears are present on the front or rear seats. A Kenwood head unit has replaced the factory audio and works just fine. The interior plastics have fared better than most Z's and the carpet has been protected with the factory plush floor mats, which are to be included in the sale of the vehicle. The interior isn't perfect and the largest imperfection is a custom dash mat that was added at one point to cover up some damage by the bezel. Still as evidenced by the OEM owner's manual still sitting inside the glovebox, this gem was well-loved overseas.

The long sloping bonnet and short front and rear overhangs are great for styling, but also keep most of the weight centered between the axles. Tightly nestled in the engine bay sits Nissan's venerable VG30DETT. This 3.0L V6 benefits from a new 12V battery and fresh semi-synthetic oil service. She turns over quickly with a turn of the key and revs freely when the throttle is stabbed. Best of all, the most expensive factory service has been performed by one of our trained techs, which includes a new timing belt and water pump assembly. Making nearly 300hp in factory form and connected to a butter-smooth automatic transmission. Acceleration is brisk and the VG boasts tremendous low-end torque. The gearbox shifts properly, and the Z makes it was up to and above legal highway speeds with ease. A Trust dual exhaust looks great with its polished mufflers, but sounds even better! The suspension feels compliant and the brakes are highly receptive to inputs. Largely due to the fact our shop has installed new pads and rotors up front, the Fairlady can slows down as quickly as it speeds up. The 17" Enkei RPF1 alloys are lightweight and wrapped in new rubber all around.

Clean 300ZX and Fairlady models are getting tougher to find by the day. This low mileage, well-maintained, example would make a great weekend toy or daily driver. This beautiful looking, and better driving 2+2 could be your turn-key Japanese classic today!
