Stock #6285For those who need some space, refinement, and 4WD, the Toyota HiAce is the answer! This 1993 is a special van, and ours is offered with a scant 96k verified and documented miles on the clock. Fresh off a recent service, this hauler is turn key and ready roll and is in good nick aside from a few light scrapes, chips, and dings associated with normal use. Finished in Light Beige Metallic over Reddish Brown Metallic (21T) this seven seater is set off by a set of OEM rainguards and refinished 15" alloy wheels. Perfect as a daily driven family hauler, cool campsite companion, or catchy company cruiser this Japanese Classic is an ideal fit. Affordable, trustworthy, and capable, this Super Custom Limited is a killer value and wont last long on the lot! Spec'd with a lot of desirable power options, this HiAce's cabin is also in above average shape. Entry is seamless thanks to functional keyless entry, and the driver benefits from the optional power adjustable driver's seat and a backlit digital gauge cluster. The column is also electric and can be set to find the optimal driving position. Reversing is a stress free affair with front and rear OEM sonar backup sensors ready to be engaged at a moment's notice Power locks and mirrors both work, making daily use more enjoyable. Long cruises are aided by an upgraded Pioneer touchscreen head unit and it looks decided more modern than the dated OEM unit. Above, a simple-to-use climate control system supplements the cockpit with cold A/C and piping hot heat. If you prefer more natural ventilation, this Toyota has you covered. The side glass pops out, the front two windows power down quickly and three large sunroofs can be tilted or fully retracted to increase airflow. The middle row is especially impressive, allowing those in the back a wide-open view of the heavens above. The middle row can swivel 180 degrees and also lays flat to create a pseudo-sleeping setup. The soft cognac-colored cloth is in above-average shape and lacks any major rips, stains, or tears. The dashboard and plastic door cards remain uncracked and the carpet and headliner are in good shape. Rare and desirable OEM lace seat covers protect the upholstery, and OEM carpet mats protect the floor liners. That's not to say the cabin is perfect as we wanted to note the power folding function of the side mirrors has given up the ghost. Still, at 30 years old, it is clear the cabin was cared for overseas in Japan. The mid-mounted 1KZ-TE is one of Toyotas best-designed turbodiesel engines. This one turns over quickly thanks to a new 12v battery and is fresh off an oil and filter service. A new fuel filter is always installed when a diesel comes through the shop, and we also replaced the intake air filter so this one could breathe freely. Power is fed through a stout automatic gearbox to both axles. It accelerates impressively for a van, with its broad low-end torque curve. Its also efficient and rides softly on its cushy suspension. The turn radius is tight and tidy for those living in the confines of the city, and the highway feel is stable at higher speeds. The steering is light and power assisted and handling is aided by new swaybar end link bushings. Capable of stopping quickly, new front brake pads were installed by one of our trained techs. The tires are brand new, and one of our trained techs installed new all-season Yokohama rubber. They quiet down the road noise and will last for tens of thousands of miles to come. *California Residents: In order to register a Grey Market vehicle in the state of California then it will have to be made CARB compliant first.
