Honda paved the way for frugal, front-drive runabouts in the 90's with a little assistance from models like the 1993 Domani Vi. Finished in a sleek Vogue Silver Metallic (NH-550M), this sedan is set off by a set of OEM rainguards, a stylish illuminated trunk pole, and 14" six-spoke WEDS Asiss alloy wheels. Aside from some light dings and chips, the paint is in good nick and it appears this lovable five-seater was well cared for a prior life overseas. Fresh off a recent service, this Honda boasts a jaw dropping 14k verified and documented miles and is turn-key ready to roll. The whole car feels nearly factory fresh and this affordable and frugal stickshift Domani is a surefire winner. As an added bonus, its also fun to drive! For those looking for a practical yet unique fuel-sipping daily driver, this period-correct Honda is the right Japanese Classic for the job.

The cabin is in far above-average condition. It includes the OEM maintenance booklets, manuals, and the OEM carpeted mats. In our opinion, is a clear sign it was loved overseas. The dash is low-lying and promotes forward visibility and the driver benefits from an SRS airbag and a tilt adjustable steering column alongside power seat height adjustment to dial in optimal comfort behind the wheel. The dashboard lacks any cracking or weather-related fading and the center stack includes a simple-to-use automatic digital climate control system and a USDM Pioneer headunit upgrade with Bluetooth and upgraded door speakers for a more modernized take on this classic cabin's audio. Both work well and the former delivers cold A/C and piping hot heat for those who intend to pilot this compact sedan year-round. The gray cloth upholstery is in fine shape and lacks any major rips, stains, or tears. They are comfortable on longer trips and are trimmed in a durable striped cloth. There is a surprising amount of electric equipment at hand including power folding mirrors, locks, and windows. These all work in typical Honda fashion and make daily use enjoyable. The carpets and headliner are in good nick and have resisted major abuse over the years, and a Mishimoto shift knob provides a welcome upgrade over the flimsy and uninspiring stock unit. Save for some minor delamination on the door card fabric, it's hard to find any major gripes with this interior.

For a brand defined by models like the Civic Si and Integra, the Domani fits in the segment nicely as it sports a feather light curb weight and a zingy 1.6 VTEC four banger under the bonnet. The SOHC ZC mill is fresh off an oil and filter service, and benefits from a new engine air filter, and a new fuel filter. While up on the lift one of our trained techs has replaced the oil pan gasket to keep this four-banger topped up on lubricant. Powering the front wheels, the little saloon gets up and moves thanks to a close-ratio five-speed manual gearbox. It goes into gear without skipping a beat and is free of any unwanted notches or grinds. The Honda drives nicely at higher speeds too and the suspension is predictable and tight. The lack of squeaks and rattles is a near miracle in this budget-friendly economy sedan and the steering is on point and the brakes are tight and tidy. New Falken tires have been mounted and balanced at all four corners so that the Domani properly adheres to the road, even in less-than-ideal driving conditions. The new rubber also quiets down the ride even further and will last for tens of thousands of miles to come.
