1993 Diamond White Pearl Toyota Celsior

Because those of us at Japanese Classics love unique daily drivers we just got in this awesome Toyota Celsior. These have definitely taken off as some of our most requested cars since they're comfortable, affordable, and unlikely to roll up next to you at a red light. This particular one is a 1993 finished in Diamond White Pearl (051) with only 92K miles. Unless you're looking at the gauge cluster you would never believe that this car has 92K miles on it. The paint has been kept in great condition and shines great with only minor cosmetic blemishes. As to be expected there are some stone chips and small markings on the front bumper from routine driving. The same can be said about the rear bumper; the most notable being a mark on the passenger side which can be seen in the pictures. Otherwise the rest of the body panels are free of any major dents or dings and line up well.
The interior shows just as well as the exterior does. The Japanese love fabric interiors due to how well they hold up and this one is a great example of that. The driver's seat show a little bit of wear to the bolster from getting in and out but that's about it. The passenger and back seats are in fantastic shape. There are no rips or notable stains on any of the seats. The same thing goes for the headliner and carpets as well. All power accessories operate as they should; the windows, locks, seats, mirrors, even the tilt/telescoping steering wheel. The automatic climate control works like a champ with cold A/C. While the factory radio does not pick up on the US frequency the factory tape deck does work so you can run an adapter if you don't want to replace the factory unit. All of the gauges light up bright and without any dead pixels. Overall it's really quite impressive how well maintained everything is.
Under the hood you'll find Toyota's robust 1UZ-FE V8. While you may not win at the local drag strip it has more than enough power to get you around slower cars on the highway. The V8 fires right up and idles nicely. Giving it a little gas power comes on smoothly and pulls strong all the way to redline. Coupled with an adjustable air suspension makes for a comfortable ride down poorly maintained city roads. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly and without hesitation. Toyota is known for it's well built cars and this one seems to fit right in with the best of them. Such an original Celsior would make for a great daily or a solid platform for a VIP build.
