The Subaru Smabar is one of the leading options when it comes to the Kei car van segment. This 1993 is a prime example with only 41K miles on it. The two tone paint really sets off the bodyline and is truly blemish free. The body panels are all super straight with no major dents or dings present. All of those dreaded door dings will be easy to avoid as the Sambar comes in at only 130" by 55". Sitting on a set of beefy 185/60/R14's really help to fill out the wheel wells giving it a mean stance. With the forward cab sitting over the front axle and 6 massive panoramic windows visibility is exceptional.

The interior of this Subaru matches the exterior to a T. The two tone gray interior is overall in great condition. There is one tear is the top corner of the driver side seat that could easily be repaired. Otherwise it's free of any major wear or stains. The headliner is also in great shape accenting the two massive sunroofs. The front has a functional mechanical vent where as the expansive rear glass is fully powered. The huge rear sliding door also have functional roll down windows. Once you arrive to your destination and want to set up camp for a while the optional factory window shades help make for a bit of privacy. And with the rear seats folded down there's plenty of space to spread out with over 6' worth of clearance to the front seats. Your soundtrack to adventure can be provided by the factory tape deck which will let you plug in for audio streaming.

Power to the full time 4WD system is provided by the 660CC supercharged 4 cylinder EN07. The motor starts right up and idles great. Once getting under way the 5 speed manual shifts smooth and precise. Clutch engagement is easy and with no slipping. The motor is very rev happy thanks in part to the supercharger. And with the AWD system you can rest assured when it comes to getting in and out of your favorite hide away. Overall this van has been superbly maintained by it's previous owner. This Sambar is hard pressed to beat when it comes down to it's daily practicality and ability to stand out in a sea of mundane people carriers.
