Fresh into inventory we just got this exceptional '92 MR2 GT. With only 63K miles it comes as no surprise the condition it's been maintained in. Finished in one of the best colors on an SW20 Astral Black (202) it looks absolutely killer. The paint shows great for it's age, with minimal markings or blemishes. The most notable spot is a chip on the hood which can be seen in the pictures. What really sets this one apart is the updated revision 5 bodywork. Over the years the SW20 had several face lifts, the fifth coming in '98. This includes the clear corner markers, tail lights, center garnish, and adjustable rear wing. One thing to note is that the holes for the original wing were filled with body plugs which can be seen in the pictures. A great mix of form and function comes from the body matched Tom's intake snorkel which really gives this one an awesome side profile. To tie everything together an exceptional set of matte bronze 17" Work CR Kais complete the look. With it's combination of upgraded bodywork and color scheme this one is a real head turner.

The interior has been kept up just as well, which comes as no surprise. The GT was the highest trim offered on the SW20 and featured the highly desirable leather and alcantara trimmed seats and door panels. The seats have been well maintained and show little signs of wear. There's a slight bit of wear on the lower portion of the driver bolster but is free of any rips or tears. The carpets and door panels are in the same shape with no real notable stains or blemishes. This one does have the T-Tops however the previous owner sealed them shut which isn't too uncommon in Japan. The glass tops make the cabin feel considerably more spacious. The GT came equipped with power windows, mirrors, locks, and automatic climate control. All of the power accessories are working as they should and the A/C does blow cold. For better control and a sportier feel a Momo 3 spoke wheel was added.

Mechanically this one has been kept largely unmodified. An HKS intake is positioned below the snorkel for a direct feed of fresh air. Subsequently the intake noise is rather pronounced in the cabin under load which makes it a bit harder to keep your foot out of it. Based on the wear to the rear bumper it appears that it had an aftermarket exhaust at some point but was switched back to the factory setup before leaving Japan. The 3S-GTE fires right up and idles nicely. Power comes on smoothly from the 2.0 and the turbo spools up quickly. When full boost hits you know it, the turbo really makes this car a blast on back roads. Since it still has the factory suspension the ride is quite nice so longer highway drives aren't back breaking. The 5 speeds shifts easily and the factory gearbox was really well setup by Toyota. The shifts are very precise without the need of aftermarket help. For those after a proper sports car that could handle daily duty then look no further.
