When you're dealing with classic cars cleanliness is one of the main criteria that we're looking for. This 1991 has to be one of the cleanest ones we've had come through. With only 48K miles it comes as no surprise. Not to mention it's finished in one of the most popular colors for the R32; Gun Gray Metallic (KH2.) The paint has been kept up very well for its age. There are a couple of small marks on the rear bumper, about the size of a finger nail. The rest of the paint has great depth and really pops in the sunlight. This Type-M has the front bumper and fogs which gives it a unique look. The body is in equally great shape with no notable dents or dings. All of the body gaps line up properly, even the doors guards are in good shape.

The interior has been kept up just as well as the exterior was. The seats show little signs of wear with no notable rips or tears. The driver's seat has a little bit of bolster wear from getting in and out, but that's about it. The carpets and even original floor mats have been well preserved. The back seats appear to have hardly ever been used. Two of the most prone wear spots in any vehicle are the steering wheel and shift knob. I'm shockingly pleased to report that both of the originals are in excellent shape. The only thing not original to the interior is the double din which could easily be replaced with a US unit that will have more functionality in the states. Power windows, mirrors, locks, and automatic climate control are all functioning as they should. The A/C blows nice and cold. One of the most common flaws that we see in R32's are the dreaded dash bubble. This one only shows very slight signs of one.

Mechanically this one has been kept all stock. The RB20DET is even still sporting the original air box which is one of the first things to get replaced. The timing belt was replaced 26K miles ago and has since been reinspected. The two liter fires right up and quietly idles along. The power delivery from the straight 6 is very smooth and has great midrange torque. The turbo spools up quickly and pulls strong. The clutch engagement is very smooth and shifts through the 5 speed are easy. Mated with the factory suspension makes for a great ride that's still very capable on more spirited runs. All around this car is in fantastic shape, perfect for those after what made the Skyline so iconic in the first place.
