Nissan's iconic Skyline coupe keeps getting better with age, and this 1992 personifies this quality. Most new vehicles feel artificial these days due to how many computers, sensors, and cameras they use. This Series 2 Type M delivers premium driving dynamics the old fashion way, with a stout turbocharged driveline, rear-drive, and with a true manual gearbox. Finished in Black Pearl Metallic (732), the body is straight other than the normal scuffs and dings associated with normal use, which you'd expect from any quarter-century-old vehicle. Offered with only 94K verified miles, this two-door features projection headlamps, OEM aero, and some tasty performance upgrades.

The cockpit of the R32 is simple and straightforward as it gets. All the creature comforts you'll need are standard and include power-folding side mirrors, auto locks, and power windows. In Japan, the prior owner installed a Kenwood head unit which functions as it should, and also an aftermarket center console that actually contains two cup holders. The blueish gray cloth seats add a bit of contrast against the darker charcoal color pallet of the interior. They are soft and well-bolstered so long journeys can be accomplished in comfort. There are no major imperfections on the front two buckets or the rear bench such as holes, tears, or stains. The carpet condition is average, as are the door cards which have been reupholstered in the recent past. The headliner does fit snugly to the roof but does have a few random scuffs stains to note. The dash has a small bubble but is neither cracker nor discolored. A Momo Corse leather-wrapped wheel and set of aluminum pedals round out the interior upgrades and set this thing off perfectly.

One shouldn't feel shy about popping the hood on this coupe, as the engine bay is filled with all the goodies. The RB20DET runs like a top and starts up with a twist of the key. The low vibration straight-six makes good power and torque and moves the Skyline up to and bove interstate speeds with ease. Rowing through a five-speed manual gearbox is a blast, and upshifts and downshifts are seamless. The close ratio unit neither grinds into gear (or pops out for that matter) and feels very direct. Sending power rearward, the chassis displays proper balance through the twisties and under braking. The suspension and driveline have been improved with a Cusco front strut tower brace and a more aggressive rear end. For those who value spirited driving, these upgrades help noticeably and are bolstered by some light power modifications. A polished FGK exhaust and M's intake help the little RB to breath better, and also provide some aural pleasure. To ensure that everything is in working order for its new owner we've gone ahead and taken care of one of the key maintenance items; the timing belt and water pump. That means you're covered for the next 60K miles.

This legendary Skyline is offered as a turn-key option for those who want a special JDM ride. Stylish, sporty, and fun the R32 is a Japanese Classic you can daily drive without feeling bad. As a collectible, if you hold onto it for a few years, you're likely to make some money as they are going up in value at a scary pace.
