This 1992 180SX was the lightweight, chuck-able, and resilient, darling of the Nissan lineup at the beginning of the 1990's. It's lightweight body, potent turbocharged two liter engine and manual gearbox made this car iconic. This particular 1992 has been kept largely stock with a few choice modifications. Like any classic sportscar, enthusiasts will love that this example is finished in Super Black (KH3), a highly desirable hue. The paint is in great condition with a deep luster. The same can be said about the body, free of any notable dents or dings. With only 125K verified miles it comes as no surprise that this car is in better shape than your average 25 year old used car. To help set off the understated, yet timeless bodywork, a set of gunmetal two piece BRX wheels with new tires sit at all four corners.

The interior has been kept all stock and in great condition. The original seats have been well maintained and look great for their age. They offer very supportive bolstering and are comfortable on long drives. Besides a small bolster rip on the drivers side seat, the remaining carpeting and door cards are in good shape. Otherwise the rear seating is free of any notable rips, tears or stains. Like all S13's this one does suffer from the common dash cracking, but its not as bad as others we have retailed. The automatic climate control is functioning as it should, blowing cold air when requested and heat as well. The window electronics and door locks also function properly with the exception of the headlight motors, all the switch gear and lighting is functional. With it's driver focused cockpit, it's a great place to spend an afternoon.

Pop the hood and you'll find the iconic SR20DET. The Aluminum 2.0 liter has become an icon in the S Chassis world. Unlike all of the USMD models that have to undergo a transplant, the JDM spec car came from the factory with the proper motor choice. The two liter fires right up and sounds great. A new 12V battery ensures quick ignition on the coldest of mornings. The exhaust has a crisp tone at idle that really opens up when you put your foot down. While kept mostly stock it has been fitted with an intake which sweetens the sound of the turbocharger. New plugs also ensure a smooth climb through the rpm band, and resulting in cabin audio makes it hard to keep your foot out of the throttle. The factory suspension is well sorted making it comfortable on the highway yet still right at home in the twisties. The 5 speed shifts with ease and the clutch is very forgiving. Between the stylish good looks and power to match there's no questions why the S chassis has become one of Nissan's most popular vehicles.
