Hands down one of the most instantly recognizable cars to ever come from the Mazda brand, the FD RX7. Finished in the quintessential Vintage Red (NU) no less. This one comes to us in great shape with only 76K miles. The paint and body are in great shape for being 26 years old. The paint has a deep luster that really pops in the sunlight. The clear coat has been well maintained and is free of any notable blemishes. Much the same can be said about the body, all of the gaps line up nicely and the iconic popup headlights are functioning as they should. The exterior has been kept largely stock. A much better looking, staggered, set of 17" OZ Racing Futura replace the factory wheels. Otherwise the exterior keeps the factory lines that made it so iconic to begin with.

The interior remains largely untouched as well with only a few minor changes. The factory wheel has been replaced with a red stitched Sport JDM deep dish which looks right at home. A matching red Razo shift knob and stainless pedal covers round out the cockpit. An aftermarket Kenwood single din was added, and while the radio has limited function it does have a USB and 3.5mm aux input. The interior has been well maintained with only minor blemishes. The bolster on the drive seat does have a bit of wear from getting in and out. Both seats and the carpets are free of any notable rips or stains. For those familiar with the FD3S the door on the map pocket is always broken, we're happy to report that this one is actually in tact and functioning properly. All of the power accessories are also functioning as they should along with cold A/C. This one does not have the sunroof option which is largely preferred. The instrument cluster has cracked behind the windshield wiper stalk, however you really have to be looking for it to notice.

Mechanically this FD remains mostly all stock. Under the hood you'll find an upgraded hardpipe kit for the intake system instead of the factory corrugated plastic. The whole car has been lowered on a set of Tein adjustable coilovers giving it a much better stance for those OZ wheels. Since the 13B is rather quiet in stock trim a Fujitsubo catback exhaust was added. The tone is great on startup without being overbearing or droning at highway speeds. The same can be said about the coilovers, they stiff as one would want in a proper sports car without rattling your teeth out over every bump. The rotary fires right up and is free of any smoke on startup. The 5 speed shifts smoothly with a short, crisp, throw and the clutch engages nicely. Coupled with the 8,000 rpm redline the rotary just begs for you to unwind it, so you've been warned. With it's instantly recognizable lines and storied pedigree what more could you ask for?
