Nissan's Z cars have stood the test of time, it's hard to believe that this is a 30 year old vehicle. From the model's debut, it was a clear design departure from the angular, blocky Nissan coupes of the 1980s. The smooth, sculpted sheet metal, timeless proportions, and rewarding drive made for immediate success in the marketplace. This 1991 example has a mere 69k verified and documented miles and finished in Silky White Pearl is a classic choice that never seems to fall out of style. The paint itself shows exceptionally well for its age barring a few stone chips from routine driving over the years. While the previous owner decided to change the original color which was Gun Grey Metallic, to what you see here we think it was a solid choice. The body is very straight and largely dent/ding free which is always impressive considering the length of the doors. The only modifications to the exterior are lighting which includes Ferrari-esque tail lights and color matched headlights while admittedly these date the car, they are period correct modifications, but easy to swap out back to original parts if you prefer. Last but not least are a beautiful set of 17" BBS LM wheels finish in Gold which accent the white perfectly.

Beginning with the interior, it becomes clear that Nissan focused heavily on a driver-centric cockpit. A wrap-around dash highlighted in grey cloth makes for comfy surroundings. Made even more comfortable by the leather seats which are a rare option for JDM spec Z32's. Being purpose-built as a grand tourer, instead of a sports coupe, Nissan added some expensive standard equipment to make daily driving more enjoyable. Starting with the digital climate system featuring automatic climate control, which blows cold A/C and hot heat on command. Power windows, driver's seat, door locks, and folding side mirrors, were all standard. The leather seats are in great condition, free of any discoloration or seam rips that so many fall victim to. The expansive dash is in great shape with no major UV damage. The rear seats are minimal for people, but great for bonus storage space in the coupe since the rear hatch is on the smaller side of things. Overall though the Z32 is a fantastic daily driver regardless of what your commute looks like. A few aftermarket touches have also been added, like the color matched trim, again a very 90's modification which could easily be reverted back to OEM if you choose. The audio system was also upgraded with a Panasonic flip out navigation system which does function, but many of the touch screen controls are in Japanese. An upgraded shift knob and steering wheel round out the modifications to the very well maintained and clean interior.

Under the hood is the infamous VG30DETT (3.0 V6 Twin Turbo) that makes this car so fantastic to drive. Built with an incredibly robust iron block these are known for their ability to make and handle power. Ours has obviously been kept mostly stock which most people prefer for a starting point if that's the route they're looking to take. The VG fires right up as soon as you turn the key. Power comes on smooth and pulls hard up to the 7K redline. Acceleration is excellent and there's no question about when those turbos spool. The Fujitsubo catback exhaust adds a nice tone under throttle, by not loud enough to be annoying. The factory suspension on these is very capable when the road gets twisty without beating you to death on your morning commute. The VG purrs like a kitten and with only 69K verified miles, this engine is only just now getting broken in. The manual transmission pairs well with this kind of GT car. It has gobs of power on tap thanks to the twin turbos, yet is plenty comfortable and easy enough to hop in and take on a weekend road trip without any concerns. The transmission engages and shifts drama free and runs through the gears with ease, sending all that power to the rear wheels without any hesitation. Additionally, the previous owner kept maintenance up to date with records showing new windshield molding, new power steering pump, new heater core, new clutch master cylinder, all of which have been performed in the last 6 years. Our technicians have also installed a new battery, new spark plugs, new fuel filter, mounted and balanced 4 brand new tires, and completed a fresh oil and filter service to ensure that this one is ready for you to drive home the same day. Head-turning good looks and the power to back it up, now all its missing is a new driveway to call home.
