This 1991 Toyota Hilux quad-cab is finished in a Blue Grey Metallic (179) and doesn't disappoint in person. With only a measly 87K verified and documented miles, this truck has plenty of life ahead of itself. The body has only minor scuffs and blemishes from normal use, and is overall far above average. A spray-in bed liner was added to protect it from cargo from day-to-day use or when your friends call you to borrow it. Notable repairs include a new front bumper. The quad-cab Hilux is roomy and comfortable enough to seat 5 passengers inside the cabin and while admittedly not as luxurious as a brand new Tacoma, the simplicity of the cabin can't be beaten. The seats are trimmed in soft grey cloth with no notable wear or rips to report.  Although the dash has suffered from the UV rays resulting in dash cracks which are hidden by the custom carpeted dash mat. This truck was optioned with power mirrors but the power adjustment function no longer works, so they must be adjusted manually. Manual windows and locks prevent electronic failure and are easily within arms reach. The heat is ready for the upcoming winter season and the A/C blows cold when you need it. The headliner is free of stains and sagging, and the carpet has been kept tidy by the previous owner. The factory radio was exchanged for a Carrozzeria head unit for all your tunes and an adjustable tilt steering column adds driver convenience. The gauges are analog and are easy to read at a quick glance. The interior is simple yet spacious whether the commute is around town or an offroad weekend workhorse, you'll be comfortable either way.

The engine tucked away under the bonnet is the 2.8L I4 diesel 3L. It fires right up with a simple turn of the key, thanks to the two new 12V batteries and new alternator installed here at the dealership. Matted up to the 3L is a 5-manual transmission and 3 pedals. Shifts are easy with no grinding and the clutch is light. Upon inspection, we decided to replace the serpentine belts for peace of mind to the next owner. The acceleration is uncurving to get you to your desired speeds and makes merging onto traffic a sinch. The brakes are confident when you need it, slowing this body-on-frame rig down to a complete stop with ease. The suspension rides great and is forgiving over bumps and potholes. A new set of front upper ball joints were installed by our trained technicians to help achieve a comfortable ride. Additionally, new tie rods were installed to tighten up the steering back to factory spec. Lastly, a fresh oil and filter service and a new engine air filter brings the maintenance up to date on this classic Hilux truck.
