The 1992 model year for the Skyline saw a number of changes which are present on this early example. Changes on the exterior included an updated front bumper, grille insert, and rear tail lights. The interior saw even more changes in the way of different seats, door panels, cluster appearance, and trim pieces. The updated look is favored by many and helps to improve the already sleek styling of the R32. This example is also in the Type-M configuration which includes larger 16” five –lug wheels and larger brakes on all four corners.
The exterior on this GTS-T sedan is in very good condition and remains OEM in appearance. The paint shines nicely with the only issue being fading on the rear spoiler. The body is straight and without major dents or dings. OEM optional fog lights are present as well.
The interior follows suit and is free of the dreaded dash bubble. The updated seats and door panels show minimal wear and have no major rips or tears. All trim pieces are present and the carpet shows no significant stains. Included is a factory optional sunroof which is functioning correctly.
Mechanically this GTS-T drives excellently and needs nothing. It currently has 58,800 original miles with a recent timing belt replacement at 57,700 miles. The RB20DET starts right away and idles correctly. Shifts through the automatic transmission are smooth and the Type-M brakes provide plenty of stopping power. All major systems are working correctly, including the A/C, which blows cold.
