The R32 is iconic for so many reasons. They have a timeless body design, are built to last, and include many modern conveniences. This 1991 Type M sedan is finished in one of the most desirable colors, Dark Blue Pearl (TH1). The body is in good shape aside from some normal dings, chips, and scuffs associated with normal use. With room for five, this car packs a wallop from the turbocharged straight-six and powers the rear wheels as you'd expect from a proper sports sedan. Offered with a mere 27k verified and documented miles, this wonderful Japanese Classic would be an ideal daily commuter or fun weekend cruiser.  Recently serviced, and legally imported, this low mileage and well-rounded four-door is a safe bet for the enthusiast who desires something fast, practical, and fun!

The cabin is in above average shape compared to most Skylines you'll find. Unlike most we see, this one has a nearly mint dashboard, lacking the distortion and bubbling common to these cars. The automatic climate control is simple to operate and blows cold A/C. Directly below is the OEM audio which does have some limited functionality. Power windows, door locks, and electric folding mirrors make daily use convenient, and these all work as advertised. The driver also receives an adjustable steering column so that they can find the ideal driving position. The durable gray cloth seats are in above-average shape and lack any major rips, stains, or tears. They are comfortable on long trips and have been cared for over the years. The same can be said about the carpets and headliner which look good, and even the owner's manuals with some service records and a spare key are included with the purchase. That's not to say the cabin is perfect as the steering wheel shows some wear, the ashtray is missing, and the passenger side door card is beginning to delaminate and bubble. These minor imperfections aside, we don't typically see Skylines that seem this nice, and it would be a shame to miss out on it, frankly.

There is a reason we have imported hundreds of R32s over the years. Nissan designed them to stand the test of time. Our example is fresh off an oil and filter service and starts up with the twist of the key. The installing technician also replaced the 12v battery with a new one, and replaced the spark plugs and fuel filter, too. The remarkable thing about the RB20DET is that it operates nearly vibration-free. Thanks to a new engine air filter the RB breathes a bit easier and can maximize power and efficiency. Mated to an automatic gearbox, shifts occur seamlessly. Sustained highway driving isn't an issue, and the R32 returns decent MPG for how sporty it is. The suspension can handle the rigors of daily use and abuse and the chassis is communicative and predictable. The brakes feel confident and the power steering is fairly light, yet delivers some decent feedback. The factory alloys are rocking tires deep in tread and overall the ride quality is quiet and composed as you'd hope.
