Nissan's Skyline R32 really needs no introduction. Combine a turbocharged engine, 3 pedals, and a well-balanced chassis all together and you get one of the most iconic sports cars that came off of Nissan's assembly line in the 90s. Whether you want to carve up mountain backroads or drive a fun street car, this GTS-T does it all with finesse. This 1991 R32 GTS-T is finished in a fresh coat of Nissan's stunning Jet Silver Metallic (KG1) and does not disappoint one bit! Aside from a few minor rock chips and dings, the body is in great shape for its model year. Notable repairs in Japan include a new tail light panel. If the HKS dragger exhaust does not announce your presence with its subtle growl, the iconic taillights will surely get the point across. With a measly 60k verified and documented miles this R32 is just getting broken in! Best of all this R32 has just had all of it's major scheduled maintenance performed including a new timing belt and water pump!
Inside the cabin you will first notice the gray/black two-tone Recaro driver seat which is in fantastic condition and has minimal bolster wear and no rips. The rest of the interior is trimmed in the OEM gray cloth and shows well with no major wear, rips, or tears. The dash has a cover and sadly, hides some major sun damage and distortion which is a common issue on the R32 dash. Although this is a sports model, Nissan equipped them with plenty of power amenities to ensure comfortable daily commuting. An automatic digital climate control is your command center for cold A/C and scorching heat to easily set your preference with a simple press of a button. The electric windows, locks, and mirror adjustments all work as advertised, and the electric mirror folding option is operable for tight parking. The original radio was ditched for an Addzest headunit to orchestrate your audio needs when you don't want to listen to the unmistakable growl of the RB. Aside from some separation on the cloth fabric on the driver's door panel from age, both door panels are intact and lack any rips and tears. The hazard button works but also gets stuck once depressed due to a cracked plastic trim surround, although it can be pulled back manually. The carpet and headliner have held up well over the years with no major stains to be found. An HKS turbo timer is located atop of the steering column and a Sparco steering wheel replaces the OEM wheel for better grip and driver maneuverability.
The GTS-T houses the well-known RB20DET engine tucked underneath the bonnet. A simple turn of the key and this RB comes to life, thanks to the new 12v battery we have installed. The torque and power is exhilarating under acceleration, and the real fun begins at full boost. The driver gets to call the shots with the 5-speed manual transmission and allows that "raw" driver feel behind the wheel. The aftermarket coilover suspension is responsive over bumps in the road with the assistance of the new front upper control arms and rear HICAS ball joints we installed, however the coilover top hats do make some minor noise over bumps. The IBA front strut tower bar also reduces the body-roll and stiffens the chassis during spirited drives. A lot of the major preventative maintenance was taken care of here by our trained technicians to ensure the new owner has peace of mind and can simply enjoy the car. The timing belt and water pump were replaced as well as the thermostat which can be a costly service performed at a local dealership or speed shop. A new set of spark plugs were installed along with a new fuel pump and new front and rear fuel lines. The brakes are confident and slow this coupe down to a complete stop on demand thanks to a brake fluid flush and we even flushed the clutch fluid as well. We also installed brand new tires at all four corners and performed a fresh alignment to ensure maximum grip for tens of thousands of miles to come! Now is your chance to own a fun turbo coupe with a slew of recent maintenance to back it up!
