A perennial 10 Best Car and Driver award winner every year of its production, the Z32 Fairlady 300zx was a Japanese Classic from the start. From its timeless styling to its punchy bi-turbo powerplant, this Grand Tourer is begging to hit the open road. This 1991 Z32 is lightly modified and fresh off a recent service. Beautifully finished in a Platinum Mist Metallic (673) it lacks any major dings or scuffs and has only a few blemishes from occasional use. For those looking for a sporty, collectible, and affordable Nissan sports car, this 2+2 is the ticket!

This 2+2 features a plush and driver-focused cabin layout. Those sitting up front will enjoy supportive and soft gray bucket seats. Unfortunately, the driver's seat bottom does have a small tear in it, the rest of the material lacks any major blemishes. In case you plan to daily drive, you will enjoy the electric driver's seat and power windows, locks, and folding side mirrors. These all work as advertised making the experience within the cabin much more pleasurable. The same can be said for the OEM cruise control system which can be engaged for long highway trips. The climate control can be used in auto mode only, but we performed a recharge of the air conditioning system and it cools down the cabin under the rays of the sun. If you want to work on your tan, the t-top shades can be removed, or the roof assembly as a whole. A Panasonic radio is installed but does struggle to open up. Once open, it is in full working order and the sound quality is quite good. The dash has a center nav mount attached but lacks any major blemishes or cracks otherwise. Even the owner's manuals are still sitting inside the glovebox, which the American buyer should really enjoy!

Powering this Fairlady is the freshly serviced VG30DETT. This compact and powerful V6 starts up with the twist of the key and is fresh off an oil and filter service. Along with a new 12v battery and a set of new spark plugs, one of our trained technicians also replaced the serpentine belts ensuring smooth operation of the 3.0L. We weren't done there, and a new engine harness was installed along with a professionally rebuilt ECU with a transferrable lifetime warranty. The valve cover gaskets, intake gasket, fuel filter, and PVC hoses are also new, which is one less thing the next owner would have to worry about. The twin turbos are quick to spool up and accelerate the rear wheels without any hesitation. Getting up to merging speeds is no difficult feat for this Z. If you don't believe us, check out the NISMO 300KM/H speedo for yourself! This pricey part is a nice upgrade for die-hard enthusiasts, but with its addition, we couldn't verify the Z mileage. It sounds good when laying on the throttle and an Apex'i Super Megaphone catback adds some ponies and a throatier exhaust note. Lowered on a set of Tein springs, the Z handles well and is made more rigid by a Cusco front strut tower brace. New rear hicas arms and a set of all-season rubber were installed at all four corners, ensuring the Z adheres to the road properly. It stops just as good as it goes, thanks to new front brake pads installed while it was in the shop. Whether just cruising around the city streets, country roads, or highway speeds this car is a joy to drive and is one of the best GTs ever produced to this day!
