So you want a manual, Japanese Classic Nissan but a Skyline is out of your budget. Out of our widely diverse inventory, the 300ZX is likely one of the most timeless designs we carry, and our 64k verified/documented mile 1991 Z32 is as good of an example as any. Finished in Platinum Silver Metallic (KL0), the exterior on this classy coupe shows nicely. With a factory trunk spoiler sprucing up the aero, and S14 alloys on all four corners, this Z looks the part, especially with new Tein coilovers closing up any unsightly gap between tire and fender. The exterior bears some small age related imperfections, stone chips, and paint fade here and there, but overall this is a great example of one of Nissan's biggest hits of the 1990's!
The Z32 is a driver's car, and the cockpit style interior is definitely the biggest indication of that. This model has all the features US enthusiasts yearn for, like durable cloth seats and of course a clean-as-a-whistle crack-free dash! The interior upholstery shows well, save for some peeling on the rear panels, and the majority of the vinyl from the door cards to the headliner is taut and spotless. Even the power adjustable seats and carpets are in good nick and were clearly cared for in a prior life, outside of a previous repair on the driver's bolster. The center stack frames a modern Pioneer headunit upgrade, complete with Bluetooth functionality. The speakers were also recently replaced and the audio quality sounds superb! The clunky OEM steering wheel has been replaced with a sleeker aftermarket unit, and the digital climate controls are within arm's reach, supplying the cabin with cold A/C or hot heat at a moment's notice. Power windows are fully operational, and the power mirrors offer up a power folding feature should you need to squeeze into a tight parking spot. The power locks also work as advertised, and the driver can pop both T-tops off for storage in the trunk if a more open-air driving experience is desired. The rear seats on this 2+2 can fit pets or small children easily, but most drivers will opt to use them as extra storage when paired with the spacious trunk area. Overall the interior should suit most pilots and passengers nicely, and an optional Imperial floormat package (pictured) can be included if you wish to protect the carpet from unwanted spills and stains. Save for some bubbling on the A pillars, there's not much to turn your nose up at with this interior.
Compared to its more publicized twin-turbo brother, the VG30DE is just as reliable, plenty responsive, and a heck of a lot easier to service! Our trained technicians have given this one a thorough once-over on the lift and this one is turn-key ready to be enjoyed from day one! A new 12v battery was installed for reliable starting, and this V6 settles into a smooth and reserved idle. Prone to leaks over the years, we've replaced both valve cover gaskets with fresh units, resealed the oil pan, and topped it off with a fresh oil and filter service to get this 3.0 up to date on lubrication. Paired to the 5 speed gearbox, it's easy to keep this V6 in the powerband, and shifting is direct and butter smooth, leaving almost nothing to be desired as you rocket this one up to highway speeds. We've replaced the transmission output shaft seal to keep the drivetrain up to spec as well. The Tein coilovers are surprisingly comfortable over road imperfections while also significantly improving the handling through back road twists and turns. The power steering is direct and nicely weighted for performance driving, and we've replaced both front brake rotors to ensure you can properly stop on demand. Lastly, we wrapped the alloys in brand spanking new Falken rubber, sure to deliver plenty of grip in all seasons of performance driving.
