The CRX was the second model from Honda to receive a “VTEC” engine. The SiR model specifically featured a number of changes not found in the standard SiR. This example is a 1991 and features the rare glass roof option. The paint still shines very nicely and has no significant blemishes. The body is in similar shape with no major dents or dings. A set of 15” T’s wheels have been added by the previous owner, but otherwise it maintains a stock appearance.

Inside the a vehicle a number of changes have been made including a Cusco roll cage and Cusco pillar bars which help stiffen the chassis. The driver seat has been replaced with a Recaro unit which unfortunately shows significant wear. The stock passenger seat is still present with minimal wear and the rear area has been stripped for fitment of the cage. An aftermarket steering wheel and Omoni gauge setup have been added as well. The dash is in good shape and free of cracks. The door panels are in similar condition with minimal wear.

Mechanically this SiR runs very well and needs nothing. The B16a engine starts right away and pulls through the power band smoothly. Shifts through the 5 speed manual transmission are smooth and a factory LSD is present. A set of Cusco strut bars and Tein coilovers with adjustable dampening have also been added. The only additional modification is a Fujitsubo catback exhaust.
