1990 Toyota Mark II – 1JZ-GTE
This 1990 Toyota Mark II is in good condition with 70k original miles. This example features the highly sought after twin-turbo 1JZ-GTE and R154 five-speed manual transmission. The exterior is in good shape with no major dents or dings. The paint also shines nicely and is mostly free of blemishes. The bumpers do show signs of wear the worst of which being the front bumper. The exterior has maintained an OEM appearance with the only exception being a set of aftermarket 15” wheels.
Inside this vehicle has been well taken care of and is clean overall. It’s fully loaded with power amenities and an optional sunroof. The shifter trim is missing but all other items are present. Changes inside include a Greddy boost gauge and Nardi steering wheel. The OEM seats are very comfortable and without rips and tears. The door panels and carpet both show minimal wear with no major staining. The dash has no cracks or bubbles and the sunroof is functioning correctly.
Mechanically this vehicle is sound and runs excellently. The 1JZ-GTE starts right away and pulls strong under boost. Shifts through the 5 speed manual transmission are smooth and the clutch does not slip. The ride height has been lowered thanks to a set of Cusco coilovers. Other modifications made by the previous owner include an aftermarket front strut bar, M’s intake, and custom 3” down pipe + cat-back exhaust. Overall this Mark II drives very well and is ready for the next owner.
