The R32 market in Japan is exploding due to a lack of supply. The most desirable body style, the two-door variants are loved for their timeless aesthetic, turbo engines, and top tier vehicle dynamics. Offered with only 119K verified miles, this beautiful 1990 GTS-t coupe is finished in Nissans timeless Black Pearl Metallic (732.) Other than a few minor scuffs and dings from daily use, the body is straight and the clear coat gleams with luster, and showcases a GT-R N1 front bumper inserts to accentuate the full Type M aero. Lightly modified with some key power and suspension modifications, this ride rewards the driver with flat handling and its punchy midrange powerband. Up to date on maintenance, and fully documented, this R32 will certainly appreciate in value in the upcoming years. However, at such an affordable price point, you don't have to feel bad about putting some miles on this Japanese Classic.

The interior of the R32 has a few creature comforts but is more-less all business. Sold as an upmarket alternative to the Silvia, the Skyline uses better quality interior materials than its sibling. The seats are softer, with a plusher gray cloth being chosen, for instance. They have held up well over the years and offer more comfortable bolstering than the S13. The rear seats look hardly used, and like the front do not suffer from any major staining, tears, or burn marks. The dash does have the typical "bubble" but all the instrumentation and climate control functions work as they should. The headliner and door cards are all upholstered tightly to their proper surfaces, and power windows, locks, and mirrors function as they should. Even the power-folding function is still operational, offering the ability to easy into tighter parking spots. Sold without the trunk carpet, the carpets inside the cabin are in good shape, and the OEM mats and manuals are included with the purchase. Remaining cockpit upgrades include a Nardi Steering wheel, and Nismo leather shift knob to improve some of the know leather wear items. One of the best surprises is a Kenwood head unit with Bluetooth integration and fantastic speakers that fill the passenger space with tunes. A/C and heat do their jobs well, allowing for the cabin to remain comfy no matter which corner of the US this Skyline finds a home in.

Mechanically, this R32 shines compared to most we sell. The tried and true RB20DET straight-six makes lots of power while delivering relatively low vibration. Benefitting from a fresh oil and filter change, and a new 12V battery, the 2.0L springs to life. It revs freely and makes all the right sounds. To help breath a bit easier a front mount intercooler, A'pexi intake, and Kakimoto polished exhaust improve the factory power output to feel more like its GT-R brethren. Acceleration is brisk and the R32 sails through the five forward gears without a hitch or grind. Power is sent to the rear wheels and the through an upgraded differential, although we cannot verify the manufacturer. This rear wheel drive gets sideways fairly easy, yet maintains great control, and the steering feedback is perfect. Tein Type CS adjustable dampers give a firmer, flatter ride without comprising comfort. They lower the wheel gap a touch, showcasing the 17" ASA Revolution wheels in a pewter finish.

The R32 coupe is the quintessential Japanese Classic. Front-engine, RWD and turbocharged, this low mileage Skyline looks great and drives better.
