The R32 Skyline GT-R has solidified its spot in history as one of the most iconic Japanese vehicles ever produced. It was a technological marvel of it’s time that dominated touring car racing in the early 90’s – but it’s become a popular chassis due to readily accessible aftermarket upgrades. This 1990 GT-R is in good shape and has just a few light modifications allowing the next owner to decide which direction to take. The exterior is in good condition with the only modification being a set of 17” BBS RG wheels to an otherwise OEM appearance. Some trim wear is present, which is very common with the R32 Skyline. The paint shines nicely with no major blemishes and the body is free of severe dents and dings.
The interior matches the exterior and features a dash free of the dreaded R32 dash bubble. The driver seat has some wear on the outside upper bolster - but otherwise the seats are free of rips and tears. The driver side door panel cloth insert could benefit from being re-glued, but overall minimal wear is present. A few aftermarket items have been added inside the cabin including a Razo shift knob, Greddy boost controller, and Greddy turbo timer.
The RB26DETT starts right away, idles smoothly, and pulls nicely under boost. The 5 speed manual transmission shifts smoothly and the clutch does not slip. The ATTESA AWD and HICAS systems are both functioning correctly. Performance upgrades to the engine include a set of HKS intakes and an upgraded 3” catback exhaust system. Additional modifications include a Cusco FSB, front and rear drilled rotors, and Tein “Street Advance” dampers. The current odometer reading of 54k miles cannot be confirmed. However records indicate the cluster was replaced on 3/30/2000 when the vehicle had 31k original miles.
