This 1989 Silvia K’s is in very nice condition and drives excellently. It currently has 86k original miles but appears to have been well looked after in Japan. It’s an original two tone however the white portion has been changed to a brighter shade. The paint is in excellent condition and shines nicely. The body is in similar shape with no major dents or dings and straight panels. A set of 16” Speedline Mistral 2 wheels complement the otherwise OEM appearance.
The interior is also very clean and well kept. The driver side bolsters have some light wear but otherwise the other seats are free of rips or tears. All door panels and trim pieces are in great shape and the carpet has no significant staining. The dash is free of cracks and bubble which has become more difficult to find with S13 chassis vehicles. The only aftermarket change is a Momo “Race” steering wheel.
Mechanically the vehicle runs great and needs nothing. The CA18DET starts right away, idles smoothly, and pulls appropriate under acceleration. Shifts through the 5 speed manual transmission are smooth and the clutch shows no signs of slipping. Lower ride height is achieved via Tein coilovers which provide a slightly more aggressive stance. Exhaust has been upgraded to a 3” Kakimoto catback system.
