The Nissan Laurel is a great mix of comfort and performance. The drive train is shared with a infamous Nissan Skyline, while the suspension is shared with the Nissan Silvia. Interior steps up from both models with optional leather, standard automatic climate control, and and a comfortable interior layout. Add 4 doors and the result is a very versatile car with plenty of aftermarket support and access to affordable modifications. This Medalist Club L example has been lightly modified with Shakotan and Zokusha influences, which we think make one very cool Laurel.
While on the simple side of both style's there have been a few exterior modifications that help set this car apart from the rest. The front end has an aftermarket front lip more commonly found on 70's-80's era Japanese cars, which adds an aggressive look to the otherwise stock Club L front bumper. The side markers on the fenders have been exchange for aftermarket units, and a decorative brake light has been added below the rear bumper.
The exterior is in good overall condition. There are no major dents or dings, the paint shines nice, and is free of any major issues. There are a few scuffs on the bumpers which have been pictured below. The front lip also has some wear from normal use. The front and rear fenders have been rolled to accommodate the SSR Formula Mesh 15x7.5 +4 front wheels and 15x7.5 -18 rear wheels.
Mechanically the car is in good condition with just 79k miles and has light modifications as well including an Apexi Intake, 3" Downpipe, and a Custom Exhaust. At some point this car has been swapped from an automatic to 5 speed and seems to have been done properly and an aftermarket clutch was added during the process making shifts crisp and smooth. A set adjustable rear arms helps keep the alignment in spec and a set of coilovers have been added to achieve a true shakotan stance.
The interior has been largely unmodified and for good reason, the seats are comfortable and leather trim is through out the interior. The drivers seat has bolster wear and is ripped, however the rest of the seats are in great condition with only light wear. Thankfully S13 seat rails bolt into the Laurel so swapping the drivers seat for an aftermarket unit would be quick and easy if you desired to. All other functions work properly including A/C. The dash and door panels are in good condition, however the drivers door panel does show wear and the carpet is free of any rips or major staining.
Overall, a very unique Laurel ready for a new owner!
