The Honda City Turbo was created by Hirotoshi Honda, the son of Honda’s founder. It also helped put his company Mugen on the map. This “street rocket” was considered to be ahead of its time and still provides a very enjoyable driving experience 25 years later. The Turbo II iteration featured wider fenders, side skirts, and overall had a more aggressive appearance. This specific Turbo II is in great condition and has been well taken care. The OEM white paint shines nicely and has minimal flaws. The Mugen CF48 wheels have been added and are in great condition.

The interior is also in very nice shape and full of neat features. The “Sonic Sound” option offers seats that transfer sound and vibration – equating to what is essentially a surround sound and massaging seat. The seats have some light staining but show minimal bolster wear and are without rips or tears. The dash is free of blemishes and the digital cluster provides a very retro look. The panels, carpet, and headliner are all in very good condition and free of major issues. OEM Floor mats are also included.

Mechanically it drives excellently and lives up to the hot hatch look. The CVCC “ER” engine starts right away, idles smoothly, and pulls nicely with minimal turbo lag. Shifts through the manual transmission are smooth and the clutch shows no signs of slipping. The suspension and braking systems are in good order and everything is functioning correctly. No modifications have been made and all OEM items are present.
