The R32 Skyline is a sought after collectible and a solid investment piece. Best off, you can daily drive this platform, as Nissan built this platform to stand the test of time with parts being readily available stateside. This 1992 Type M is finished in a classic Black Pearl Metallic (732) and is offered with only 121K verified miles. The body is in good shape, other than the normal dings, and chips associated with your typical wear and tear. Optioned with one of the most popular drivetrains, enthusiasts prize this GTS-t for its factory build list. Sporting a peppy 2.0L straight-six, manual transmission, and timeless styling, you won't want to miss out on this coupe!

The interior of this R32 is no-frills, but does have several convenient power options and creature comforts. Compared to the sedan, the pilot has a more centralized driving position between the wheelbase. A Nardi, leather-wrapped steering wheel adds a bit of an upscale vibe, to the otherwise stock interior. The gray cloth seats are soft to the touch, and the front passengers are provided plenty of support for longer drives. Except for light bolster wear on the driver's seat, no major rips, tears, and stains are to be noted on the upholstery. The matching door cards are held tight to their surfaces, and the headliner doesn't suffer from sagging or burn holes like many of the Skylines do. The carpets are in good shape, and for those who care about originality, the owner's manuals are still in the glove box. Most R32 dash's have large bubbles and suffer from distortion; this one has a small blemish by the glove box and has only a minor amount of distortion to note. The power-folding mirrors operate properly for safe city parking, and the power windows and locks work. The digital climate system allows for quick changes in cabin climate however the A/C is inoperable, and the OEM radio below it still blasts the tunes out at will.

The interior was always a shortcoming of R32, but the driveline and powertrain are stoutly built. Powering the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission, Nissans RB20DET six-cylinder. Turbocharged and intercooled, the 1998cc mill makes decent power and gets up to interstates speeds quickly. Benefitting from a fresh oil service, there is no required maintenance for another three-thousand miles. The clutch engagement and 5 speed work smoothly in harmony and is stout enough to handle whatever you throw at it. The OEM suspension does a fine job of dealing with less than ideal road surfaces and provides plenty of ground clearance. New upper control arms and HICAS arms were installed to freshen up the suspension feel. The brakes are able to slow the R32 down quickly from higher speeds, and the weight distribution is such that the car hunkers down instead of dives. Grip is handled by four new all-season tires, mounted and balanced by one of our trained technicians.

The iconic looks and rewarding drive of the R32 are second to none. As a weekend warrior or daily driver, it's hard to ignore this fabulous option for your own Japanese Classic.
