Exterior Overview
Affordable, reliable, and just as recognizable as its turbocharged brethren this GX100 is one hot Japanese Classic! Our 1997 Chaser Avante has racked up a scant 80k verified/documented miles over the years and is finished in a slick White Pearl Tricoat (057). Save for a replacement of the rear bootlid, there’s not much to complain about exterior wise and OEM rainguards and privacy tint work to spruce up the otherwise factory fresh looks. Ideal for daily duty, extensive road trips, or jaunts to your local late night cruise-in, these GX Chasers take well to modification and are easy to service! A Japanese icon at a competitive price, we’re obsessed with the X100 platform!
Interior Overview
The interior is finished in a supple tequila-colored cloth that assumes an almost velvet-like texture. Better yet, the cockpit is flush with power amenities to make daily driving in the 21st century a breeze. The seats are free of any serious defects and have resisted the past couple of decades on the road with hardly a rip or stain. Additionally, the dash materials show well, and dual front and side SRS airbags are on hand for occupants with safety in mind. The driver gains a power adjustable seat and some additional electric lumbar support, and the steering column tilts and telescopes to dial in an ideal driving position. The center stack frames a simple-to-use automatic climate control system. Trudging into the cold winter ahead, heat is on standby, and the A/C works well too! The adjacent upgraded USDM Sony audio sounds great and includes Bluetooth integration for hands free driving. All four power windows go up and down without a hitch, and the power locks and power folding side mirrors work too! For those in colder climates, the windshield and side mirrors are heated and help to make chilly morning commutes a bit easier. The rear seats are plush, spacious, and as a whole this cabin really has it all!
Mechanical Overview
The 1G-FE under the bonnet excels in many areas. It’s frugal to operate, sips fuel, and is easy to service too! Ours is fresh off an oil and filter service, and we replaced the valve cover gasket to button this one up against any unwanted leaks of lubricant. The engine makes plenty of power, and it zips right up to highway speeds without issue. The automatic shifts smoothly and throws power predictably at the rear wheels. The suspension comfortably glides over road imperfections large and small, and we installed new front tension arms to keep everything compliant. The steering is light and on point and easy to articulate thanks to a fresh fluid flush. The brakes clamp down hard thanks to new front brake pads and rotors. Further aiding traction, comfort, and stability, the tires are in good shape, and this GX is ready to rock!

CARB certifications will have to be performed within the state. Depending on the vehicle and any existing modifications will affect the pricing. Typically CARB compliance will range between 5-10K.
