The R33 Skyline was a massive upgrade over the R32 it replaced. Although many do prefer the sterling of the 32, the newer platform is a better-built vehicle with superior performance. This 1995 GTS25-t is powered by a silky smooth RB25DET and utilized a proper sportscar gearbox. Finished in a subtle yet classy (KL0) Spark Silver Metallic, the body is in good shape aside from the normal dings and scuffs associated with normal use. The rear tail light panel and trunk have been replaced during its prior life in Japan, and the repairs are top notch passing VA state safety inspection with no issues. Offered with a mere 67k verified and documented miles, this one owner R33 is fresh off a slew of service and legally imported and would make for a wonderful weekend warrior or daily driver if you choose.

The cabin is in above-average shape and is pretty roomy to boot. The dash lacks any cracks or distortion and the view of the road ahead is clear thanks to the skinny A-pillars and large front windscreen. The gray cloth seats are supportive and soft to the touch. They lack any major damage such as rips, stains, and tears and long cruises can be enjoyed in comfort. The OEM audio is still present and works as it should. The headliner, door cards, and carpets all look respectable and have been cared for. Power windows, locks, and mirrors are standard as it automatic climate. That system does currently blow cool air but does have some no operational buttons. The system works in auto mode but does have some issues switching between hot and cold. We also wanted to note that the tach intermittently works and likes to bounce around from time to time. It's obvious this car was cared for in a previous life and we even have the owner's manuals included to boot!

The mechanicals are stout and reliable and the powerplant packs one hell of a punch. Gaining a half-liter of displacement over the model it replaced, this 2.5L mill is smooth and torquey. The RB25DET is fresh off an oil service and cranks over quickly thanks to a new 12v battery. Its idles nearly vibration-free which adds a level of refinement that is lost sometimes with a V6. In addition to the items listed above, we have also taken care of a new engine air filter and serpentine belts. Best of all the most expensive service has been permed by our shop and this example has a brand new timing belt and water pump installed. The radiator was also replaced while we were in there so that the RB stays at the proper operating temps. We did want to note a small oil pan leak but it's nothing you'd have to fix immediately. Power is sent through a manual gearbox to the rear wheels as it should be. The gearbox shifts as it should and the gear ratios are just fine for US roadways. The handling is also impressive and this R33 has a new set of struts at all four corners so it feels stable and controllable when driving spiritedly through some twisties. The right rear HICAS ball joint had some play and that was replaced as well by one of our trained technicians. The brakes feel confident and the power steering is nicely weighted and communicative. The OEM alloys are all wrapped in new rubber and they should last for tens of thousands of miles to come. The new tires also quiet the ride down a touch and should provide a premium, year-round grip.
