Exterior Overview
Our latest and greatest arrival here at Japanese Classic may not be a classic by definition, but it follows the ethos of the rest of our inventory by being a spiffy, reliable, and fully serviced rig. Our 2015 Tacoma Double Cab boasts just 96k miles on the odometer and is bolstered with regular dealership service history and a comprehensive once-over here at our shop. Finished in Magnetic Grey Metallic, the cosmetics are in good shape, and this slick second gen is set off by a 2″ lift, a factory tow package, and a set of stylish 17″ Motegi Traklite wheels. Interior Overview
The graphite interior is upholstered in a durable sport mesh, which should hold up well to outdoors use and abuse. Power windows, locks, and power mirrors are all operable, and the factory infotainment works like new. To pump in your tunes, Bluetooth functionality is on hand. Adjacent to the headunit, automatic climate control is easy to operate, and the A/C and heat work like a charm. Designed with safety in mind, dual front, side, and side curtain airbags make this pickup one of the most well-protected vehicles in the segment. The seats are free of major rips, stains, and tears, and the carpets are protected by factory all-weather mats. The rear bench has enough room to comfortably seat three additional passengers and the interior materials show well apart from some expected wear to the steering wheel. As a whole, this cabin really impresses, and to benefit the next owner, we’ve gone ahead and installed a new cabin air filter to keep the HVAC working efficiently!
Mechanical Overview
The 4.0 1GR-FE is a stout unit, and this V6 has gone down in the history books as one of Toyota’s most bulletproof truck engines. For that reason, it fits right in with the rest of our inventory, and we’ve given the driveline some beneficial recent service to boot! It cranks over with haste, care of a new 12v battery, and is fresh off an oil and filter service here at the shop. The engine air filter was replaced to give this pickup a tune-up, and we installed six new spark plugs across the board. It accelerates up to speed predictably, and a 5 speed automatic gearbox handles gear changes. Operating the 4WD is easy as pie, and low gearing is on hand if you need to hit the mud bogs or the beach. We also bolstered the driveline with a front and rear differential fluid service, and a transfer case flush. Some exciting service was performed to the suspension, and we installed a 2″ lift and leveling kit. Brand new Bilstein shocks were installed in the rear, and this Tacoma soaks up road imperfections large and small. Recently serviced, the ABS brakes grab with authority, and the brand-new Falken rubber provides the additional grip and stopping power needed to traverse any terrain!

CARB certifications will have to be performed within the state. Depending on the vehicle and any existing modifications will affect the pricing. Typically CARB compliance will range between 5-10K.
