Exterior Overview
Whether on the daily commute, knifing through a canyon, or out for a weekend cruise, the Toyota Celica has you covered. It’s reliable, efficient, and comes with the same powerplant powering the Lotus Elise! They also feature modern styling, and this 2000 is set off by Enkei PF-07 alloys, a Varis front bumper, OEM optional side skirts, OEM rear spoiler, and an OEM optional rear valance. Aside from a few light dings, chips, and loss of gloss, the Super White (040) paint is in fine shape, and this coupe is fresh off a recent service. Touting a mere 54k verified and documented miles on the ticker, this Celica has logged a fraction of the use of our typical American examples. High on style and high on substance, this terrific Toyota is an affordable Japanese Classic that you won’t want to pass on!

Interior Overview
The cabin features a clean, crisp, and modern design. Access inside is made more seamless thanks to functional keyless entry. The sculpted dashboard lacks any cracking or fading, and dual SRS airbags are standard for those riding up front. The driver benefits from a tilt adjustable stering column to find the ideal driving position. Electric windows, power locks, and power folding mirrors all work flawlessly, making daily use more enjoyable. A Panasonic touchscreen head unit pipes in the tunes and includes a DVD player. The seats are in above average shape, and the red and black sport cloth lacks any major rips, stains or tears. The rear bench split folds and folds flat to allow for more cargo. Supported by new hatch struts, the rear opens wide to swallow your groceries, and other bits and bobs. The headliner and door cards are in good nick, and even the carpets are protected by OEM carpeted floor mats. Overall, this is one of the cleanest interiors we have had in recent memory.

Mechanical Overview
Sharing mechanicals with our American Celicas, this SS-II is easy to keep on the road, and parts and service options are inexpensive. Plus, the 2ZZ-GE is an incredible engine with a long track record of dependability. Fresh off an oil and filter service, the 1.8L cranks to life with the twist of the key, thanks to a new 12v battery. A new accessory belt was installed to keep the electronics properly powered, and a new harmonic balancer and crank pulley keeps cabin vibration to a minimum. A new engine air filter assists the four-banger to breathe freely, and it pulls hard to redline when you mash the throttle. One of our trained techs refreshed the 2ZZ with a new water pump, and then we flushed the coolant and replaced it with new juice. The automatic gearbox shifts like it should and throws power to the front wheels. It sails up to highway speeds, and this high-revving powerplant is a joy to wring out. It slows down quickly when called upon, and the power steering system has been fully flushed, and its communicative and on point. The Tein coilovers allow this Toyota to hug the turns, and a fresh alignment allows it to track straight as an arrow. The tires are knee deep in tread, and all this Toyota needs is a new American owner.
