Stock #6911
Exterior Overview
It’s no secret that we love all generations of Land Cruisers, but as years have gone on, it’s clear that the unparalleled luxury, refinement, and performance of the 100 series models make them our rig of choice. It’s easy to see why, when you toss models like this 2000 VX Limited into the mix. With an impressive 65k verified/documented miles on the clock, this Cruiser is barely broken in, and looks swell in a clean coat of Warm Silver Metallic (1B1). Set off by OEM rainguards and refinished 16″ Wild Cruising alloys, the cosmetics are bone stock and factory fresh, ready to customize to your heart’s content. Save for a few minor nicks and dings, these outshine domestic SUV’s by a country mile, and on a daily commute, a weekend road trip, or even wheeling out in the sticks, nothing comes close to a Japanese Classic like this!

Interior Overview
Those familiar with stateside Cruisers should know this interior well, and the discerning enthusiast may point out some beneficial extras and upgrades that sweeten the deal even more! Acess to the cabin is made more seamless thanks to functional keyless entry. To start, the seats are upholstered in a soft and supple tan cloth. Durable and stylish, they’ve resisted the better part of 25 years on the road, and an optional third row is handy if you need to lug around a few extra passengers. For those that don’t, it easily stows to the side to create a larger cargo hold. Dual front SRS airbags are standard, and the center stack houses a factory touchscreen that integrates OEM audio and an easy to operate dual zone climate control system. Power windows and locks are fully functional and aid daily use, and the electric side mirrors feature a power folding function if you need to squeeze in a tight spot. The headliner is durable and free of any unwanted rips and stains, and houses a few bonus storage compartments to store your trinkets. The headliner is neat and tidy, and the leather-wrapped steering wheel has also resisted the woes of daily wear and tear. Overall, if you can see past some light carpet staining and discoloration, you’ll likely be satisfied with this Cruiser’s cabin, and we think even the pickiest pilots will agree.

Mechanical Overview
When Toyota revamped its whole Land Cruiser lineup in 1998, they did away with the inline-six layout for its petrol engines too. Instead, this 2UZ-FE arrived to take its place, and with an abundance of power, torque, and smooth driving dynamics. With all that in mind, we think they made the right choice. To sweeten the deal, our trained technicians have given this one a comprehensive service, and this Cruiser passed VA state safety inspection with flying colors. A new 12v battery was installed to aid ignition, and we replaced the engine air filter and fuel filter to keep the 4.7L clean of unwanted contaminants. After the tune up, the V8 soars up to highway speeds with haste, and power is delivered to all four wheels via a smooth shifting automatic gearbox that benefits from a fresh fluid service. High and low gearing are standard, and a center locking differential can pay dividends on loose surfaces, too. The stock suspension rides like a cloud and benefits from new rear shocks. Also added were new rear upper control arms and a set of swaybar links were installed to keep the drivetrain compliant. The power steering is light and easy to maneuver, and the aftermarket alloys are wrapped in brand new all-terrain Falken rubber. Working in tandem with standard ABS brakes, the 33’s are knee deep in tread and ready to take you on pavement or off the beaten path!
