The Land Cruiser 90 Series straddles the line between light and heavy duty. It’s perfect for those looking for that balance of space, size, and refinement. Based on our domestic 4Runner platforms, these rigs are easy to service, but are larger and more premium in feel. This 2000 is also handsome, and is finished in Millennium Silver Metallic (K73). This one is adorned with 16″ refinished wheels, an OEM bashbar, and some OEM rainguards. Aside from a few light dings, chips, and scuffs the paint is in good shape, and this 4×4 is fresh off a recent service. Offered with only 113k verified and documented miles on the clock, this baby is barely broken in. With room for eight and Toyota dependability you can take to the bank, this Japanese Classic is an incredible overall value. Interior Overview

The cabin is in above-average condition and was clearly cared for in Japan. Cockpit access is made seamless thanks to functional keyless entry. There are a few factory upgrades, including the OEM headunit. This option design looks neat and sounds even better. The dashboard lacks any cracking or fading, and dual SRS airbags are standard equipment. The center stack is close by and within arm’s reach. The automatic climate control system is simple to operate, and doles out cold A/C and piping hot heat. Also spec’d is the optional rear heating system to improve cold-weather usage. Power folding mirrors, electric locks, and power windows all work in typical Toyota fashion, improving daily use. The gray and blue cloth seats are in above-average shape. They lack any major rips, stains, or tears. The third row can fold up into the D-Pillar for tidy storage, and the middle row can slide forward to accommodate more cargo. The door cards, carpets, and headliner are all in good nick, and have withstood the past 25 years without sustaining major damage. Included with the purchase of this truck are the factory maintenance booklet and a spare key, too!

Mechanical Overview

Under the skin, this is no soft-roader. It’s a true ladder chassis and is underpinned by a robust Full-Time 4WD system. It has a low range and center locking differential if you plan to do some wheeling, and ABS is standard equipment should you encounter sleet or snow. The engine is an absolute workhorse and was sold here in the USA, so parts and service options are plentiful and affordable. The 3RZ-FE under the bonnet is fresh off an oil and filter service and chugs to life promptly courtesy of a new 12V battery. To ensure the 2.7L keeps running tip top, a new engine air filter, a new fuel filter, and new spark plugs and wires, and a new MAF were installed. We also wanted to make sure the new owner’s oil level stays full, and one of our trained technicians resealed the valve cover and replaced the o-ring on the distributor while it was on the lift. The 3RZ is linked to a stout automatic gearbox. Shifts feel reassured, and these autos are engineered to withstand lots of abuse. It feeds torque through a Full-Time 4WD system, which is ideal for those living in more seasonal climates. It’s a comfortable cruiser on the freeway, and the long wheelbase distributes road imperfections with the best of them. It also slows down particularly well, likely due to the new front brake pads and rotors we chucked on! The power steering is light and easy to articulate, and this rig tracks straight as an arrow thanks to a fresh alignment. The new 31″ Falken tires will provide all the grip necessary for tens of thousands of miles to come. They also look mean and reduce road noise. For state inspection, we also replaced the front sway bar links and rear shock bushings. Turn key and ready to roll, this reliable, stylish, and refined SUV only needs a new American owner!
