Exterior Overview
We see around five hundred new imports a year, and it’s rare that we see a unit that catches our attention for the condition alone. This 1999 Nissan is a special sedan, and is a one owner vehicle to boot! Finished in a lovely Athlete Silver (KV2), this four-door is adorned with an OEM optional front lip, OEM optional side skirts, and an OEM optional rear lip. Aside from a few light dings, chips, and scuffs, the paint is in good nick, and a set of SSR Type C wheels and color-matched eyelids add some sportiness to the aesthetic. Fresh off a recent service, this manual, rear-drive sedan boasts only 70k verified and documented miles on the ticker. Ideal as a unique daily driver, wicked weekend cruiser, or fun family hauler, this Skyline does it all. Safe, reliable, and a delight to motor, this is a Japanese Classic that deserves an American owner who values its superior condition, iconic styling, and top-tier practicality.

Interior Overview
The cockpit condition is sublime and far above average for our typical sports sedan. Access is made more seamless with functional OEM keyless entry, which comes in handy when you are toting around a bunch of grocery bags. For those who value safety, dual SRS airbags are standard equipment. The OEM xenon headlamps illuminate the road well at night, and can be height-adjusted from within the cabin. The driver has an unencumbered view of the road ahead, and the low lying dashboard lacks any cracking or fading. A Pioneer headunit upgrade looks modern and sounds great, filling the cabin with a soundtrack as good as the RB under the hood. Power folding mirrors, power locks, and power windows all work as they should, and make daily use more manageable. The auto climate system is intuitive to operate and blasts cold air conditioning or piping hot heat, depending on your preference. The seats are upholstered in a black and grey textured cloth. They are in above-average nick and lack any major rips, stains, or tears. The same material is mirrored in the door cards, which have avoided major abuse over the years. The headliner is clean, lacking major damage, and so are the carpets and soft-touch plastics. Even a spare key and the owner’s manuals are included with the purchase of this stellar Skyline.

Mechanical Overview
This platform is balanced, responsive, and easy to service. The Skyline was always looked at as a purebred sports car, but the truth is, they are more refined than they get credit for. The silky smooth RB20DE NEO powers this saloon and is fresh off an oil and filter service. The battery was changed in Japan before it hopped on the boat, and we replaced the fuel filter and engine air filter as soon as it got on the lift. A new set of spark plugs guarantees the fuel is properly atomized and the 2.0L pulls hard to redline. It gets moving well despite its diminutive displacement and sips gas compared to its forced-induced 2.5L turbo counterpart. It sends power to the rear pumpkin courtesy of a factory manual gearbox. The transmission is communicative, and gear changes go off without a hitch. One of our trained techs installed a new set of rear wheel bearings prior to this R34’s state safety inspection, and the driveline feels stout and sturdy. The suspension is compliant and can handle the rigors of daily use and abuse without breaking a sweat. The standard ABS brakes do a swell job of slowing down this five-seater, and grip is handled by four new freshly mounted and balanced Falken tires. The new rubber will last for tens of thousands of miles to come, and the power steering is direct and easy to articulate. It’s one of those cars you can expect to turn the key and enjoy right out of the box!
