The Toyota Aristo is a do-it-all sedan. Fast, refined, easy on the eyes, and filled with options, this 1999 TTE  is the real deal. Set off by a set of SSR SP3 wheels, a TTE style front lip, OEM TTE rear bumper insert, OEM TTE rear spoiler, OEM optional grille, and OEM rainguards, this Japanese Classic is all business. Aside from a few light dings, chips, and scuffs the Atlantic Blue Mica (8L4) paint is in good shape, and this twin-turbo saloon is fresh off a recent service. Offered with only 62k verified and documented miles on the ticker, this Toyota is barely broken in. Perfect for a long blast down the highway, and civil within the confines of the city, this JZS161 would make for a wonderful daily driver or cool weekend cruiser. The cabin is in remarkably good shape and includes several upgrades and standard safety features. Sliding into the cabin is made easier by a keyless entry fob, and the driver and both front occupants can find the ideal seating position thanks to the power front seats. The driver gains an adjustable steering column and the functional power windows, locks, and folding mirrors make daily use more enjoyable. Even factory cruiser control is equipped. Dual SRS front and side airbags allow more peace of mind when traveling at higher speeds. The seats are in above-average shape and lack any major rips, stains, or tears. The blue and gray cloth also break up the interior and the front buckets are quite comfortable over longer drives. The Toyota touchscreen headunit has some tunes stored on the HDD and supplements the 2J soundtrack from under the hood. The door cards, headliner, and carpets are in good shape having withstood the past 25 years without sustaining major abuse. The dashboard is in good nick as well and lacks any cracking or distortion. The automatic climate controls are close by at hand and the system supplies cold A/C and piping hot heat when required. 

The Aristo is a powerful sedan with the same engine as the legendary Supra. The 2JZ-GTE is fresh off an oil and filter service and churns to life care of a new 12v battery. The inline six is incredibly smooth and pulls hard to redline. It sounds incredible thanks to the TTE-specific Remus exhaust and an aftermarket intake. It even revs a bit faster thanks to a Greddy lightweight pulley set. The 3.0L is mated to a stout automatic that sends power to the rear wheels. It sails up to highway speeds and pulls like a freight train on the interstate. It slows down nicely too, and the ABS brakes feature upgraded Supra front calipers and new front pads and rotors. One of our trained techs refreshed the suspension with new front caster arms, and new front lower ball joints installed while it was on the lift. The Cusco adjustable coilovers reduce the fender gaps and ride quite nicely despite their age. The chassis is further tied together with a Greddy front strut tower bar. The 18" SSRs are wrapped in new rubber at each corner. The power steering is nicely weighted and thanks to a new alignment this JZS161 goes right where you point it.
