The plush cabin is best in class, and filled with premium materials all around. Cruise control makes the highway commute much more comfortable and works as it should. Both driver and passenger can rest assured dual front and side airbags are standard, and for convenience's sake, so is digital dual-zone climate control. Cold A/C and piping hot heat can be circulated at will and for more natural ventilation, one-touch power windows can be unfurled for a natural breeze. Power folding side mirrors and power locks make daily use even more enjoyable and work as they should. The seats are upholstered in a soft gray cloth. Both of those riding up front have power seats, allowing them to relax and enjoy a serene drive. They lack any major rips, stains, or tears and are supportive and in above-average condition. The door cards, carpets, and headliner all look to have withstood the past quarter century without sustaining major damage and overall the cabin condition is seriously impressive. It even includes the factory air purifier for those who must have it all!
The reworked 1UZ-FE under the hood benefits from variable valve timing and a healthy power upgrade over the previous iteration. The V8 whirrs to life care of a new starter and 12v battery. It breathes freely thanks to a new engine air filter. While it was up on the lift a new oil pan was installed to keep the engine properly lubricated, and all new serpentine belts keep those jazzy electric cabin options powered. The 1UZ operates nearly vibration-free and sends power to the rear wheels care of a stout automatic gearbox. Gear changes are hardly felt when riding along, and the Celsior sails up to highway speeds with ease. It's faster than older versions of the car, thanks to an extra cog which brings the total to five forward gears. The height adjustable airbag suspension delivers a cloud-like ride and new front ball joints and caster arms keep things predictable. The ABS brakes have been improved with new pads up front and the tires are new Falkens that were mounted and balanced right here in the shop.
