Interior Overview
The cabin is spacious and nicely equipped. The driver benefits from a tilt adjustable steering column to find the ideal driving position and dual SRS front airbags are standard. The dashboard lacks any cracking or notable fading and the center stack is close by and within arm’s reach. A digital automatic climate system doles out piping hot heat and cold A/C and the upgraded Dual audio keeps the cabin supplied with tunes thanks to Bluetooth functionality. The seats are trimmed in a durable grey sport-mesh material. They lack any major rips, stains, or tears and are in good nick. To make daily driving more enjoyable, power folding mirrors, power windows, and electric locks all work like a charm. The door cards, headliner, and carpets have also fared well over the past 25 years, and it’s clear this sedan was cared for in a prior life. That’s not to say everything is perfect as we did want to note that the OEM infotainment screen no longer flips up out of the dash, and the steering wheel has a bit of wear towards the top. Still, that’s a bit of nitpicking and the cabin is in good shape otherwise. Also included with the purchase are the factory manuals and maintenance booklets, stowed away securely in the large factory glovebox.
Mechanical Overview
This chassis is completely dialed, and the same can be said about the RB25DET NEO engine under the hood of this R34. Fresh off a comprehensive service, the 2.5L churns to life with the twist of the key. To address future preventative maintenance, our technicians performed a full timing belt and water pump job on the RB. We installed a new radiator while things were torn down, and also flushed all new coolant in. We addressed a couple pesky oil leaks, and installed a new front main seal and new cam seals for good measure. To top everything off, an oil and filter service was performed. To keep all that fresh oil topped up, one of our trained technicians replaced the half-moon seals and valve cover gaskets. The torquey 2.5L is linked to a stout automatic gearbox and feeds power to the rear wheels. An HKS catback exhausts bring out a symphony of inline-six goodness, and the auto trans shifts properly and has a manual mode with steering wheel shifter buttons. It accelerates impressively and slows down just as well, with new pads bolstering the large anti-lock brakes on all four corners. The suspension is predictable and connected, and is more than capable of handling the rigors of daily use and abuse. For state inspection, we installed new front caster arm bushings. The power steering is direct and communicative, and this Series 1 R34 goes right where you point it. Riding on good Falken tires at all four corners, this sedan transmits little road noise through the cabin, and after a fresh brake fluid flush, this super sedan is primed and ready for daily use, or weekend backroad abuse!

CARB certifications will have to be performed within the state. Depending on the vehicle and any existing modifications will affect the pricing. Typically CARB compliance will range between 5-10K.
