Exterior Overview
Nissan’s R34 Skyline is an instantly recognizable Japanese Classic. A true poster car, motorsports icon, and big-screen celebrity, these sports coupes are more than meets the eye! This GTT model is phenomenal to drive, own, and would be a fine choice for a comfortable daily commuter, or a determined weekend warrior. Finished in black pearl (GV1) it’s easy on the eyes as well, sporting an OEM optional front lip, rear spoiler, and 17″ BBS LM wheels. Squeaky clean inside and out, this ER34 shows only a few light chips and scratches from daily use and is in above-average condition, although we weren’t able to verify the current mileage due to a replacement NISMO instrument cluster, which was installed during an engine rebuild at NISMO Paddock Chiba. Still, coupes like this Skyline GTT are worth their weight in gold, and in this condition, the discerning enthusiast would be silly to miss out on this R34. After all, it’s a Japanese Classic and the complete package!

Interior Overview
The interior is stylish, well-crafted, and features a slew of creature comforts and appointments to make daily driving a breeze. Trimmed in a two-tone sport mesh, the upholstery is in good condition overall, showing no discernible rips, stains, or tears. In fact, the only thing that’s succumbed to any typical age is the dash cover, which shows some splitting atop the gauge hood. The center stack is in good shape, and houses easy to use switchgear. Digital automatic climate control works like a charm, and adjacent to the HVAC, Pioneer audio is on hand. Bluetooth integration is helpful and you can keeps your hands on the wheels and eyes on the road, and the sound quality is decent! If you prefer to listen to the turbo-six soundtrack, both power windows roll down, but cold A/C and hot heat are on standby if you prefer to keep them up. Power locks and electric folding side mirrors also work like a charm and aid daily use. The headliner is tidy, and the mesh material is mirrored in the door cards, in equally good shape. The carpets are also tear or stain-free. A factory triple gauge suite helps the driver monitor engine vitals, and overall, this cockpit really impresses!

Mechanical Overview
It’s rare a 27 year old car comes in with this many service records from new, let alone a full engine-out rebuild receipt from NISMO Paddock Chiba. The RB25DET under the bonnet runs like a top, and with new and improved NEO technology, it’s a treat to own, wrench on, and drive! Our trained technicians have also given this one a once-over for the road ahead. To start, a new 12v battery was tossed in to make this Skyline start the first time, every time. We changed out the oil and filter, and installed a new engine air filter and fuel filter. This 2.5L runs like a dream, and the factory 5-speed manual does a swell job at throwing power rearward. It shifts smoothly, with no hitches or grinds, and scoots up to highway speeds with haste. Tein coilovers keep the chassis planted over rougher pavement, and remote-controlled EDFC dampers allow you to adjust suspension stiffness on the fly. We replaced the front caster arms to help this one pass state safety inspection, and we took care of an extensive steering rack rebuild, installing new rack bushings, seals, inner and outer tie rods, and boots. After a fresh alignment, this superb Skyline tracks straight and is ready to pound pavement, but as a last line of defense, the BBS’ were wrapped in fresh rubber here. Primed and ready, this is one clean unit ready to go to a new home in the US!
