Set off in a classic Pearl White (057), this VX Limited model is set off by an OEM spoiler, LED tail lights, OEM sunroof visor, EGR rainguards, and Method Wheels wrapped in 33″ Falken rubber. Aside from a few light dings, chips, and scuffs, the body is in good shape, and this truck is fresh off a recent service. Powered by a durable V8 sold here in the US, parts and service options are aplenty, and this terrific Toyota has logged a mere 104k verified and documented miles. Interior Overview

The cabin is one of the nicest in recent memory. Loads of factory upgrades are present, such as an optional power moonroof and functional heated seats. Both front occupants benefit from electric adjustable seats and dual SRS airbags. The vehicle is upholstered in tan leather, too, which is rarely found. The material lacks any major rips, stains, or tears and is mirrored in the door cards. The dashboard lacks any cracking or fading, and the center stack is close by and within arm’s reach. A digital touchscreen climate system is simple to operate and doles out cold A/C and piping hot heat. The same system controls the audio, which sounds crisp and clear. Power folding mirrors, power locks, and power windows all work in typical Toyota fashion, making daily use more enjoyable. The headliner and carpets are in fine shape, and even an OEM trash receptacle and OEM carpet mats are included with the purchase of this lovely Landy.

Mechanical Overview

Built atop a ladder chassis, this SUV is one tough cookie. The same can be said for the engine, Toyota’s 2UZ-FE. Fresh off an oil and filter service, the 4.7 churns to life instantly courtesy of a new 12V battery. A new fuel filter and engine air filter were installed as a part of its tune-up, and the V8 runs right as rain. It’s mated to a stout automatic gearbox that shifts just as it should. The Full-Time 4WD system provides all the grip you will ever need, and for your off-road exploits, a low range and center locker can be engaged. It gets up to highway speeds without breaking a sweat and slows down with confidence, thanks to standard ABS brakes. The active height control suspension provides loads of ground clearance and feels predictable. One of our trained techs rehabbed the system with new rear upper and lower control arms and new panhard bar bushings to boot. The steering system was also given a full rehab. We rebuilt the rack, performed a flush, and installed new inner and outer tie rods so that we could dial in the perfect alignment. With that done, she tracks straight as an arrow, and we completed the shop visit with a set of expensive 33″ Falken all-terrain tires. The new rubber looks mean, quell road noise, and can handle all the gravel, sand, and snow you can throw at them!
