Stock #5995The Accord has always been a sporty, reliable, and easy-to-service vehicle. This 1998 sedan is an incredible value, and is offered with only 68k verified and documented miles on the clock. Finished in a stately Moonstone Silver (NH-616W), this spicy SiR-T model is set off by OEM front and rear lips, OEM side side skirts, factory rainguards, an OEM optional rear spoiler and 16" OZ Racing alloys. Aside from a few light imperfections, this Honda is in good nick and drives even better than it looks with its 200hp DOHC VTEC four-banger, manual gearbox, and nimble lightweight platform. With room for five, this would make for a roomy and agile daily driver, fun weekend cruiser, or unique family hauler. For those on the lookout for a sneaky good deal, these Accords are purebred Japanese Classics that are accessible to the masses! The interior is in above average shape and utilizes some premium materials. It also boasts loads of power accessories including electric folding mirrors, power locks, and power windows. All these work in typical Honda fashion and the driver even has a tilt adjustable steering column to find the ideal driving position. Up front, both driver and passenger gain dual SRS airbags for a little more peace of mind. The dashboard lacks any cracking or fading and includes a centrally mounted digital automatic climate control system. Cold A/C can be accessed with a press of a button and hot heat is on standby for later in the year. The blue and gray textured upholstery might be the best part of the cabin, and it's soft, durable and lacks any major rips, stains or tears. The cloth is also mirrored in the door cards which are in good shape as well. The carpet and headliner have withstood the past 25 years without sustaining major use or abuse and even the OEM Floor mats have been retained for the next owner. That's not to say the cabin is perfect as we wanted to note some wear on the gear selector and a missing headunit. In fact the lack of audio might be attractive to some when you hear the Blue Top F20 scream to redline. Joking aside, the cabin of this Accord is nicely equipped and is ready to be taken care of as well as it was in a prior life!Honda's designers were experts at designing fun FWD platforms during the late 1990s. The CF4 is a wonderful chassis and it's powered by a peppy 2.0L engine. Fresh off an oil and filter service the 1997cc mill churns to life thanks to a new 12v battery. A new engine air filter allows the F Series to run seamlessly and the engine pulls hard to redline. One of our trained technicians has also installed a new valve cover gasket so it stays topped up on oil and we've given the driveline and steering systems a light refresh. A new front right axle boot was installed and we also replaced the front right inner and outer tie rods. Power gets to the ground with immediacy and the trick factory electric power steering is direct and can be set to varying weights. The other surprising quality you wouldn't expect from a midsize Honda is the utter lack or squeaks or rattles. The chassis feels composed and predictable, even over less than ideal road surfaces. The ABS brakes allow this Accord to stop on a dime and grip comes from new all season rubber we mounted and balanced at all four corners. We even performed a fresh alignment to ensure you get the most out of our fresh service!*California Residents: In order to register a Grey Market vehicle in the state of California then it will have to be made CARB compliant first.
