Exterior Overview
***This Estima is in above-average structural and cosmetic condition, but the engine has overheated and seized. It has previously passed VA state safety inspection and only needs an engine and radiator to be roadworthy. You must bring a trailer to pick up this van or have it shipped
The Toyota Estima/Previa was a unique and inspired design for a people mover. A stark departure from the angular, boxy vans from the 1980s, this curvaceous 1997 model is an eye-catching shape. Featuring a reliable powertrain and abundant interior space, this Japanese Classic would make for a wonderful daily driver. Finished in a lovely Evergreen Pearl (751) this Lucida model is set off by refinished 15″ aftermarket alloys, an OEM spoiler, OEM factory rainguards, and some subtle privacy tint. Aside from a few light chips, dings, and scuffs, the paint is in good shape and this hauler is fresh off a recent service. Offered with only 79k verified and documented miles on the clock, this van is an appealing prospect in the market. Ideal as a cushy daily driver, unique family hauler, or mean marketing machine, this project van has loads of potential!

Mechanical Overview
Unlike other haulers, this rear-drive midship transporter is remarkably well-balanced. The engine sits low in the chassis and is much further back than our nose-heavy American vans of this vintage. Sadly, this example suffered overheating and the engine no longer turns over. A new longblock assembly would get things running right as rain, and the radiator will also need to be replaced. The drivetrain, suspension, brakes, and steering have been inspected here and this van even passed its state safety inspection with flying colors! ABS is equipped in case a dusting of snow comes this van’s way. The power steering is light and on point thanks to a fresh alignment. The aftermarket alloys have been refinished and wrapped in new rubber at each corner. The new tires not only reduce road noise but will last for tens of thousands of miles to come. Turn key and ready to roll, this versatile van is a jack of all trades, and we feel the new owner will enjoy fixing up and driving this lovely Estima!
