The second-generation Aristo is a timeless model. The flowing lines, modern and spacious cabin, and powerful twin turbo six-cylinder engine are all reasons why this Japanese Classic is so beloved. Finished in Toyota's classic Diamond White Pearl (051), this V300 model is in good overall shape aside from some light dings, chips, and scuffs associated with normal use. Fresh off a recent service, our JZS161 is primed to cruise our American roadways and is offered with a mere 37k verified and documented miles. As a daily driver, weekend cruiser, or subtle sleeper, this special sedan can't be beaten. Fast, refined, and built to stand the test of time, Toyota absolutely nailed this design!

The cabin was a huge step forward in terms of aesthetics and material quality. The dash design is more flowing and lacks any cracking or fading. Highlights include new electroluminescent Optitron gauges and loads of electric equipment. Safety features were also loaded on, and this 161 features dual side and front airbags for some added peace of mind. Digital dual-zone automatic climate control is handy for those who run at different operating temperatures and if you prefer natural ventilation, electric windows, and a power sunroof work as they should. To find the ideal seating position the front seats are powered and the driver can move about the power tilting and telescoping steering column. Cruise control, power-folding mirrors, and electric locks make daily use more enjoyable and the seats are incredibly supportive and soft. That's not to say the cabin is perfect as the tan cloth seats have some light staining on the rear bench. On the positive side, they lack any major rips, tears or holes. The door cards are in good nick, as is the headliner, and so are the carpets aside from some light stains. Even the OEM mats, owners manuals, and maintenance booklet are on hand for the next owner to enjoy, and as a whole, this thing was obviously pampered in Japan.

We can go ahead and state the obvious; the 2JZ-GTE is an absolute legend and yes, it powers this vehicle. To get more granular it's a VVTi version of the engine, enhanced for more low-end power and top-end punch. The 3.0L is fresh off an oil and filter service and starts up care of a new 12v battery we installed here in the shop. To keep her idling with confidence and new engine air filter and a new set of spark plugs have been installed. We also replaced the weary old valve cover gaskets with new ones so that the next owner wouldn't have to mind the oil level. Nearly vibration-free, this wonderful powerplant is linked to a smooth-shifting automatic transmission with a manumatic shift function. Torque is supplied to the rear wheels, as it should be in an executive sedan such as this. Smooth around town and a freight train on the interstate, it is awfully hard to keep your foot from mashing the right pedal. It slows down equally as well as it accelerates, and both front and rear axles are shod with new brake pads. If they bite down too much ABS can step in, which is helpful in certain scenarios. The suspension gobbles up large and small road imperfections with confidence and a new left rear ARS (Toyota's rear wheel steering) arm and front lower ball joints have also been installed here at our shop. The steering is on point and power-assisted. The simple, five-spoke OEM alloys are wrapped in deep all-season rubber. A fresh alignment completes the reconditioning and ensures long-lasting tire life. Turn key and ready to rock, this super sports sedan is a whole lot of Toyota and a great overall value!
