The Pajero just may be the last affordable third row SUV available from Japan. With handsome exterior styling, an interior chock full of amenities, and an impressive direct injected V6 under the hood, we'd say these stack up against the competition quite nicely as well! Our 1997 facelift model is an ideal choice for those looking for a thrifty family hauler, and is finished in Anchorage Grey over Munich Silver (BA7D). With only 49k verified/documented miles on the clock, this recently serviced rig is in above-average condition overall. Spruced up by a factory brushguard, OEM front rainguards, a nifty parking pole and a complementary set of 16" alloys shod in new rubber, this delightful rig is quite the head turner, showing no discernible defects outside of some light rock chips, and paint fade throughout. Quick, capable, and well-appointed, the Pajero V6 is a Japanese Classic SUV like no other.

The interior is where the V45 Pajero truly shines, and this one was clearly maintained well by it's previous owner. Trimmed in a durable grey cloth, the upholstery has held up remarkably well over the years, save for some expected age-related staining from normal day-to-day use. The dash is in good nick, and fortunately, the materials have resisted any serious cracking, peeling, or other miscellaneous UV distortion. The center stack is trimmed in a complementary matte black and houses a fully functional digital automatic climate control unit, ripe with Cold A/C and hot heat for those in cooler climates There's even a nifty factory navigation system to complement the OEM audio, although on stateside streets this is a novelty at best. For those looking to haul a full squad of passengers, a third row is easily accessible and can stow away against the D pillars if additional cargo space is needed. Dual-zone climate control is also at the ready to tailor the cabin to everyone's liking. Also aiding all passengers are a full suite of power windows, and power locks and power mirrors are at the driver's disposal as well. As expected for a feature-heavy SUV, dual SRS airbags are standard and should provide some extra reassurance if things go awry on the road. Overall, the cabin was clearly well preserved, save for some expected wear on the steering wheel and other hard plastics, and it should suit its next owner well. We've even retained the original owner's manual, factory-carpeted floor mats, and a set of additional all-weather floor liners to prepare this cabin for whatever climate it encounters!

Under the hood, Mitsubishi's 6G74 is a potent and determined mill, fortunately sharing many parts with stateside Mitsus. This means you'll be able to easily keep up with maintenance here all while having the quickest classic SUV on the block. Our trained technicians have done some preliminary service on this one, replacing some key items often neglected in Japan. A new 12v battery aids ignition, and this one starts right up, settling into a reserved idle. On a 25-year-old vehicle, protection against contaminants is key, and we've performed an oil and filter service and a fresh coolant flush so you need not worry about lubrication. On throttle, this Pajero is a rocket and is substantially quicker than any other SUVs we offer. The tiptronic transmission shifts smoothly up and down the gears, and Mitsubishi's Super Select 4WD system is at the ready, allowing you to engage 4WD at speeds up to 60 MPH! For those looking to traverse this one off the beaten path, a center locking differential can be easily accessed if you become mired in the muck. The suspension is compliant, thanks to new sway bar links in the rear, and offers ample ground clearance for aspiring off roaders. The brakes bite hard, and ABS is at the ready if you need to slow yourself on loose surfaces. For some additional peace of mind, we've wrapped the alloys in fresh All Season rubber, sure to deliver plenty of on and off-road grip for tens of thousands of miles to come! These Pajeros are fantastic buys, and this example has the mileage and options to make for a killer daily rig!
