The Nissan Stagea is certainly one of the coolest wagons Nissan has ever built and includes all of the underpinnings of a R33 GTR Skyline including an improved Attesa AWD system. However, with top models like the 260 RS skyrocketing in value, all is not lost when it comes to owning an affordable Stagea. This 1997 25X Four model is just the ticket if you want a rad Stagea without the hefty price tag! Finished in Nissan's Dark Blue Pearl (BP9) the exterior is in great condition showing only minor imperfections from normal wear and tear such as minor scuffs and door dings. The color pops in the sunlight and is a fairly uncommon color for the Stagea. Notable repairs in Japan include a new right front fender. In excellent condition overall and having a mere 117k verified and documented miles, this Stagea is fresh off a recent service and ready to be driven! 

The cabin boasts modern updates and enough space for the whole family and then some! Standard safety features include dual front SRS airbags. The dash is in great condition and has resisted any major UV damage over the years. The seats are trimmed in a light grey cloth and show no rips or tears, and only minor bolster wear to note. The door panels are in equally good shape, with only minor wear and no cuts or tears. Equipped with a digital automatic climate control the cabin stays comfortable no matter the temperature outside with hot heat or cold A/C on tap with the press of a button. Below the climate control is the factory radio which functions just fine, although it will not pick up many US radio stations as the frequency band is different in Japan. Additionally, the volume knob is a bit finicky, so a replacement with something more modern is suggested.  The power equipment including the power windows, locks, and retractable mirrors all function properly and even includes the factory keyless entry key fob which works properly. Below the radio are two pop out cup holders which are a welcome addition to your morning commute. Inside the glove box you'll even find the original owners manuals included! The rear cargo area is spacious as is, but you can also fold the rear seats down completely to create a space large enough to sleep in if you're the adventurous type! This tidy well maintained interior is a testament to how the vehicle was cared for during its prior life in Japan. 

Powering this Stagea is the RB25DE 2.5L straight six and while not as powerful as the turbo charged models it happily accelerates up to highway speeds and is comfortable cruising on long road trips. A fresh oil and filter change keep the engine happy for another 3k miles and a new battery ensures cold starts are no issue even in the dead of winter. The Attesa AWD system, which is also found in the R33 GTR has a feature not available on the GTR which is the 50/50 torque split button beside the steering wheel allowing equal distribution of power to both the front and rear wheels. The factory suspension handles the rigors of daily use with a breeze and shares its design with the R33 GTR.  The brakes are confident and quickly slow the wagon down thanks to a set of new rear brake pads our trained technicians installed and we had the rotors turned while we were at it. We also installed a new fuel filter and engine air filter to keep the engine idling smoothly. Four brand new tires round out the maintenance list and will provide traction year round for years to come. This affordable Stagea is ready to provide you with unlimited smiles per gallon!
